ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate the incidence and associated factors of spinal curvature disorders among primary and middle school students in Hohhot, so as to provide reference for relevant prevention strategies.@*Methods@#According to the monitoring and intervention work of students common diseases in Inner Mongolia Autonomous, 13 586 primary and middle school students in Hohhot were selected by random sampling method to carry out scoliosis examination in September 2021.@*Results@#A total of 538( 4.0% ) students were found to have spinal curvature disorder. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that monitoring site, phases of studying, and persistent back pain in the past 1 month were associated of spinal curvature disorder in primary and middle school students ( OR =0.33, 1.74, 1.28, 1.51, P <0.05).@*Conclusion@#Spinal curvature disorder is relatively common in primary and middle school students in Hohhot. Effective measures should be taken to reduce the burden of spinal curvature disorders in primary and middle school students.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To assess the risk factors for peri-procedural myocardial infarction (PMI) occurrence in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) based on the new standard of US Society for cardiovascular angiography and interventions (SCAI). Methods: According to SCAI standard, a total of 3371 relevant patients with 3516 elective PCI in our hospital were enrolled. The baseline clinical features, coronary angiography (CAG) findings and PCI procedural elements were retrospectively studied, the independent risk factors for PMI occurrence were identified by multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results: There was 108/3516 (3.1%) PMI occurred in all patients. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis presented that age (OR=1.037, 95% CI 1.016-1.058), treating multi-vessel lesions (OR=1.697, 95% CI 1.095-2.629), treating at least 1 bifurcation lesion (OR=1.869, 95% CI: 1.213-2.878) and the total length of lesion (OR=1.016, 95%CI 1.009-1.024) were the independent risk factors for PMI occurrence. Conclusions: Age, treating multi-vessel lesions, at least one bifurcation lesion and the total length of lesion were the independent risk factors for PMI occurrence in patients after elective PCI.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To explore the cleaning action of rhizoma pinelliae mi xture(RPM)on trachea secretions of the model animals.METHODS:The rats were divided randomly into high and low dose of RPM group and the control group; Then the secretion level of phenol red in each group was observed after the forming of models by tracheostomy and intraperitonal injection with phenol red;The respective time that spent on moving cork wood filings to a same distance by oral mucosa ep ?ithelium ciliary movement of toad both before and after medication were observed.RESULTS:The secretion level of phenol red in RPM group increased significantly compared with the control group(P

ABSTRACT

Objective To detect mutation of mitochondrial DNA in a chinese pedgree with maternally inherited aminoglycoside antibiotic-induced deafness. Methods The mutation of mitochondrial DNA from all 18 family members of a chinese pedigree with maternally inherited aminoglycoside antibiotic-induced deafness was detected by PCR and DNA sequencing. Results Nine individuals in this pedigree carried A→G mutation at the 1555th bp of mitochondrial 125 rRNA, and the others did not have this mutation. Conclusion Mitochondrial DNA mutation may be one of major factors resulted in aminoglycoside antibiotic-induced deafness in this pedigree.
