ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the clinical value of the combination of three methods including 99mTc-MIBI imaging, multi-slice spiral CT and tumor markers [carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),cytokeretin19 fragment(CYFRA21-1), neuron-specific enolase(NSE)] measurement for diagnosis of lung cancer. Methods 350 patients were performed 99mTc-MIBl imaging, multi-slice spiral CT and measurements of tumor markers apart within one week. 200 patients were proved by pathology lung cancer in all 350 patients. Results The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy obtained with the three methods and combination of three methods were 74.5 %(149/200), 68.7 %(103/150), 72.0 %(252/350);97.5 %(195/200), 42.7 %(64/150), 74.0 %(259/350);62.5 %(125/200), 28.7 %(43/150), 48.0 %(168/350) and 99.5 %(199/200), 82.0 %(123/150), 92.0 %(322/350),respectively. Conclusion The results imply that three methods has its distinct important clinical value in diagnosis of lung cancer respectively. The diagnostic efficacy of the combination of three methods is superior to any single one at present situation.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of MRI in diagnosis of neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus (NP-SLE).Methods 9 cases with NP-SLE were examined with PICKER 0.23T imaging system during 1~6 months after presenting clinical signs of NP-SLE. All patients with NP-SLE were imaged by spin-echo and fast spin-echo sequences in axial, sagittal and coronal planes with a head coil. Results In all 9 cases, 5 cases were diffuse NP-SLE which showed multiple points, patch abnormal signal, isointense on T 1WI and hyperintense on T 2WI images, both sides of white matter were involved . 2 patients showed focal abnormal signal in brain, while 1 case showed isointense on T 1WI and small patch hyperintense on T 2WI in basal ganglia which didn't change after treatment, another one showed small patch low signal intensity on T 1WI and high signal intensity on T 2WI( meaning antiquated hemorrhagic infarction)in the head of left caudate nucleus. Among 9 cases, 2 cases showed normal MRI signals. Conclusion MRI is sensitive in displaying cerebral focus, and has important value in diagnosis of NP-SLE. It is important that MRI must be combined with clinical and laboratory data,so that, the characteristic of high sensitivity can be used abundantly and correct diagnosis acquired. In the same time MRI can instruct clinical treatment.

ABSTRACT

Objective To compare the diagnostic value of X-ray,CT,MRI and SPECT in avascular necrosis of femoral head(ANFH).Methods X-ray,CT,MRI and SPECT findings of ANFH proved by pathology in 180 cases were respectively analyzed and summarized. Results X-ray,CT,MRI and SPECT,the diagnostic sensitivity was 25%,75%,95% and 100% respectively, the diagnostic accuracy was 20%,65%,85% and 85% respectively, and the diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy was 100% and 98% respectively all together of X-ray,CT,MRI and SPECT.Conclusion The diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy of ANFH will observably improve in case of combining X-ray,CT,MRI with SPECT.
