ABSTRACT

Objective To study the efficacy of electroacupuneture combined with auricular acupoint seeds on cluster headache and its adverse reaction interfering. Methods A total of 98 cases with stroke were randomly recruited into a control group of 49 cases and a treatment group Of 49 cases. The control group was treated with conventional medicine, while the treatment group was treated with electro-acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint seeds, besides tge conventional intemal medicine. The efficacy was evaluated after one monm's treatment.A follow-up efficacy was evaluated in the continuous 6 months. Results 2 cases in the treatment group and 1 case in the control group quitted in the process. The treatment group showed significant better results in the immediate efficacy,3-mortth follow-up efficacy and 6-months follow-up efficacy as compared to the control group(all P<0.05).The adverse reaction incidences of the treatment group were also significantly lower than the control grouD at 3-months and 6-months follow-up study(all P<0.05).Conclusion The therapy of electro-acupuncture combined with auricular acupoint seeds is helpful to improve pharmacotherapy effect and alleviate medium term and long term adverse drug reaction. It can be served as an effective preventative measure for cluster headache.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the preventive effects of electroacupuncture therapy on glenohumeral subluxation(GHS)in patients of cerebral stroke of super-early period. Methods A total of 160 cases with cerebral stroke were randomly recruited into a control group of 80 cases and a treatment group of 80 cases. The control group was treated with conventional medicine and rehabilitation training, while the treatment group was given electro-acupuncture therapy based on conventional medicine and rehabilitation training. All treatments were performed once in each day, and one treatment course lasted for ten days. The preventive effect was evaluated after the successive three courses. Results 4 cases in treatment group and 2 cases in control group quitted in therapeutic process. The GHS incidence rate in the third course of treatment group was significantly lower than control group (P<0.05). The severe GHS incidence rate of treatment group was significantly lower than control group in the second course (P<0.05)and the third course (P<0.01). The GHS scale of the treatment group showed no significant difference in all three courses (P>0.05), while the control group showed significant difference in one course of all three(P<0.05). Conclusion Electro-acupuncture therapy can significantly decrease GHS incidence rate, relieve pathogenetic condition, control its progress, and so thus prevent GHS of stroke patients in super-early period.

ABSTRACT

Objective To compare the change of mineral element in Tibet herb Halenia ellipitica D. Don before and after the seeds matured. Method We separately collected the cultivated Halenia ellipitica D. Don of several different districts in Qinghai province before and after the seeds matured and analyzed the contents of mineral elements as potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium by atom absorb spectrum instrument. Results and Conclusion The calcium, magnesium and potassium, sodium elements nutriment has an antagonistic characteristic. The sodium and phosphorus elements nutriment has a coordination characteristic of the cultivated Halenia ellipitica D. Don in Qinghai province during the growth period.

ABSTRACT

type of extreme heat with yin asthenia. But discrepancy of CO and EF between type of deficiency of both QI and YIN and type of QI-stagnation and blood stasis all had not statistical significance. Conclusion: In clinic to aim directly at left ventricular contractile dysfunction of senile diabetics,no matter syndrome differentiation belonging to type of deficiency of both QI and YIN,type of QI-stagnation and blood stasis or type of deficiency of both yin and yang, all can benefit after treatment with supplementing QI and activating blood circulation method;but syndrome differentiation belonging to type of extreme heat with yin asthenia advocates not to use supplementing QI and activating blood circulation method.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture plus laser intravenous irradiation therapy on dysfunction caused by craniocerebral injury. Methods One hundred and seventy cases of craniocerebral injury were randomly and equally divided into a treatment group and a control group. The control group was managed with routine treatment, while the treatment group with the electroacupuncture plus the laser intravenous irradiation on the basis of the routine treatment. Results After the treatment, there were significant differences between the two groups in terms of Glasgow Outcome Scale(GOS), Dyscinesia Scale(DS) and Karnofsky Performance Scale(KPS) evaluations. Conclusion The therapeutic effect and clinical outcome of electroacupuncture plus intravenous laser irradiation is significantly better than that in control group, indicating that electroacupuncture plus intravenous laser irradiation is a better therapeutic option for improvement of motor functions.
