Collected data analyzed by one sample T- test in SPSS 18.findings presented by Mean score and optimal score

Results: Persian websites of depression were weak in the content [mean 6.6], reliability of sources[mean 4.2], accessibility and usability [mean 2.1], links [mean 1.5], support [mean 3.9], and the privacy of user data[mean 2.5] and they were below average. Only design criteria [mean 9] were rated good and above average. Also there was no significant relationship between ownership type and rating website evaluation, finally provided a list of sites ranked on the basis of indicators

Content validity was determined by the experts, and reliability of the questionnaire were measured by chronbach's alpha [Cronbach Alpha was 0.74]. Finally data were analyzed by SPSS18, using descriptive and inferential statistics [nonparametric tests using Man-Whithney, one-way analysis of variance,Kolmogorov - Smirnov, Kendall correlation coefficients]

Results: 60.3% of the participants mentioned lack of time as an obstacle in accessing the new information. 52.5 % acknowledged the need to help them search the information. There was no significant difference between male and female participants and work experience in regards with the need to medical librarians in Al Zahra Hospital. ABSTRACT

Because of the low prevalence of Human T Lymphotropic Virus type I [HTLV-I] in comparison with Khorasan Province, considering HTLV-I as an etiology of spastic paraparesia, it may be neglected in evaluation of spastic paraparesis in the other regions of Iran. Some reports of spastic paraparetic patients due to HTLV-I infection in West Azarbaijan, caused us to reconsider the importance of HTLV-I epidemiology in the other areas of the country. All spastic paraparetic patients who referred to Motahari and Imam Khomeini educational hospitals of Urmia from September 2004 to September 2007 were assessed for HTLV-I infection antibodies. In our 3 years study, 11 cases were diagnosed as Human T Lymphotropic Virus type I Associated Myelopathy/Tropical spastic Paraparesis [HAM/TSP, 2 males and 9 females]. The mean age of patients at the time of diagnosis was 45.8 years. Dorsal and cervical MRI of all patients was normal. Serum Enzyme-Linked Immuno-Sorbent Assay [ELISA] and Western blot [WB] for anti HTLV-I antibody in all patients was positive. Four patients underwent for lumber puncture in which were normal in respect of cells and biochemistry, but positive for anti-HLTLV-I antibodies. HAM/TSP detection in West Azarbaijan in spite of its long distance from Khorasan Province shows the importance of anti-HTLV-I Ab assay in the blood and CSF of every spastic paraparetic patient all over the country

ABSTRACT

Neck pain is one of the common diseases [66.7%], which contains different age's groups such as youn. Results of researches indicate prevalence of women neck pain is higher than men, so experiment in neck disease in female is more necessary. The aim of this study is to evaluate changes of postural stability in patient with muscular neck pain. Twenty patients and fifteen healthy subjects contribute in this study. Postural sway in quiet standing was assessed in both limb stance [BLS], one limb stance [OLS] of dominant side, on a force platform with open eyes [rigid-open]; and standing on a force platform with closed eyes [rigid-closed]; and standing on the foam [10.5 cm-thick] with open eyes [foam-open] without shoes. All of above conditions were done with dual task. Mean changes of logarithmic displacement in medial-lateral and for- aft directions were calculated. There are significant differences between two groups, especially following dual task, and difficult conditions of OLS and standing on the foam. Patients with neck pain have difficultly in postural control that need to attending in treatment and prevention of following damages

ABSTRACT

There is over 10 years that beta IFN for the treatment of MS is presented to the world of medicine. As there are some doubts about the Pathophysiology of MS, there may be some differences between our patients and other ones; so a study of this type for our own patients is essential. This is a descriptive-analytic and clinical trial study. According to the clinical and paraclinical findings, the patients with the diagnosis of Relapsing Remitting MS included for this study. Severity of disability [according to EDSS and FS] and the numbers of attacks were estimated before and after treatment with IFN/ beta Side effects of IFN beta were evaluated, too. 69% of patients were female and 31% male. Mean age of onset is 26.93 years old and mean duration of disease 5.13 years. Mean relapsing rate before and after of treatment was 1.79 and 0.74 respectively; the difference between these two is significant [P<0.05].The mean of EDSS at the months of O, 3, 6,9,12 was decreased significantly [P0.05]. The most common side effect of IFN-beta in our study is flu like syndrome [27.5%]. Epidemiologic findings of this study such as M/F ratio and age of onset are similar to other studies. Statistical tests revealed the effects of IFN beta on the decrease of disabilities and relapse rate, but there are no differences of these effects between male and female
