ABSTRACT

Objective To study the effect of morphological characteristics of modular inner branched stent graft (MIBSG) on hemodynamic performance of postoperative aortic arch based on parameterized MIBSG model. Methods The fluid-structure interaction model of blood-MIBSG coupling performance was solved, and the effects of stent branch angles, stent diameters on hemodynamic characteristics were analyzed. Results With the increase of angles between branch stent and aortic arch stent, blood flow within the branch decreased, but the stress and displacement increased. With the decrease of stent diameters, blood flow perfusion decreased significantly, but the stress and displacement increased first, and then decreased. Conclusions The morphological changes of MIBSG not only have an impact on blood perfusion rate of branch stent, but also affect the stress exerted on stent and the corresponding displacement. Before application in clinic treatment of aortic arch diseases, the movement and torsion of MIBSG should been taken into full account in operation plan according to the actual situation.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the diagnostic performance of ADC value for predicting proliferation and invasiveness of cervical squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).Methods Totally 96 patients with pathologically confirmed SCC underwent preoperative conventional MRI and DWI.Mini-ADC value,mean-ADC value and mini-ADC ratio (mini-ADC/meam ADC) were measured and compared for various patient groups divided based on Ki-67 labeling index and clinicopathological characteristics. Results The mini-ADC values were significantly lower in patients with high Ki-67 expression, tumor size ≥4 cm,high FIGO staging, low pathological grade, depth of cervical stromal infiltrating ≥ 1/2,parametrial involvement, lymphovascular invasion (LVI),lymph node metastasis and perineural invasion (PNI,all P< 0.05).Compared with mean-ADC value and mini-ADC ratio,mini-ADC value exhibited the most effective diagnostic performance in predicting clinicopathological characteristics with the highest areas under the ROC curve and efficacy.Mini-ADC value showed negative correlation with Ki-67 index (r=-0.48,P<0.001) as well as other clinicopathological characteristics, including tumor size,FIGO staging, pathological grading, depth of cervical stromal infiltrating, parametrial involvement,LVI,lymph node metastasis and PNI (r=-0.36,-0.34,-0.27,-0.40,-0.33,-0.60,-0.61,-0.41,respectively,all P<0.05).Conclusion Mini-ADC value can effectively reflect the proliferation and invasiveness of cervical SCC.

ABSTRACT

Objective To discuss the effect of intra-operative and post-operative hyperthermic intraperitoneal lavage chemotherapy for Ⅲb and IV gastric cancer on post-operative peritoneal metastasis and survival rate. Methods The clinical data of 31 cases of gastric cancer(control group)who underwent operation only and 50 cases(chemotherapy group)who receved operation combined with intra-operative and post-operative hyperthermic intra-peritoneal lavage chemotherapy were comparatively studied. Results The survival rate of control group after 2 years and 3 years was lower than that of the chemotherapy group, and the intraperitoneal recurrence raue of cootrol group after 2 years and 3 years was higher than that of chemotherapy group. Conclusions Intra-operative and post-operative hyperthermic intraperitoneal lavage chemotherapy for gastric cancer has important significance in prevention and treatment of peritoneal metastasis and can improve survival rate.
