ABSTRACT
El objetivo fue conocer la distribución de las formas clínicas de tuberculosis (TBC) en relación al estado Nutricional en la población pedißtrica del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Ni±o (lNSN) dentro de las edades de 0 a 18 a±os, atendidos en consulta externa y emergencia desde enero a junio de 2006 con el diagnóstico de TBC usando los Criterios de Stegen y Toledo para la Tuberculosis Infantil considerando solo 112 pacientes que tuvieron un puntaje igual o mayor a 5 según los anteriores. Se demuestra que el 85 por ciento tuvo TBC pulmonar y el 15 por ciento las formas extrapulmonares. El grupo etßreo entre 1 a 4 a±os fue el mas afectado con 34,8 por ciento. El 33 por ciento tuvo algún grado de desnutrición global de acuerdo a la clasificación de estado nutricional de F. Gómez. Se halló también que 79,5 por ciento tuvo PPO positivo (10mm). No se encontró correlación entre las formas clínicas de TBC y el estado nutricional (X2: 0,298; p menor que 0,05). La variable mßs sensible dentro de los Criterios de Stegen y Toledo fue el PPO (79,5 por ciento).
The objective was to know the distribution the clinical forms of tuberculosis (TBC) in relation with nutritional level in the pediatric population of the Instituto Nacional de Salud del Ni±o (lNSN) within the ages of 0 to 18 years old taken care of by externa I consultation and emergency from january to june of 2006 with the TBC diagnosis using the Criteria of Stegen and Toledo for the Infantile Tuberculosis considering 112 patients single who had a greater score equal or major than 5 according with the criteria of Stegen and Toledo for children TBC. The results demonstrate that pulmonary TBC reached 85 per cent and Extrapulmonary 15 per cent. The age group between 1 to 4 years was the most affected with 34,8 per cent. The 33 per cent had some degree of global undernourishment according to the classification of nutritional state of F. Gomez. There was also found that 79,5 per cent had positive PPO (10mm ). Not exists relation between the clinical forms of TBC and nutritional level(X2: 0,298; p menor que 0,05). The most sensible variable within the Criteria of Stegen and Toledo was the PPO (79,5 per cent).
