ABSTRACT
Objective:To investigate the effects of meditation therapy on fear of disease progress and mental health among acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients.Methods:Totally, 120 cases of acute myocardial infarction patients admitted to Affiliated Hospital of Jiangnan University were divided into experimental group and control group according to the enrolled time. 60 patients with AMI treated from June to November 2018 served as the control group and 60 patients with AMI treated from January to May 2019 served as the experimental group. The patients in the control group received routine nursing, the experimental group carried out 4-week meditation therapy based on the routine nursing. Before and after intervention, the effect was assessed by Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form (FoP-Q-SF) and Symptom Checklist-90 (SCL-90), respectively.Results:After intervention, the physical health and social family function dimension scores in FoP-Q-SF as well as total FoP-Q-SF scores were (12.78±3.47), (10.45±2.44), (23.24±4.25) points, significantly lower than in the control group (14.33±2.72), (11.59±2.82), (25.91±3.89) points, the difference was statistically significant ( t values were 2.623, 2.277, 3.499, P<0.05); the scores of somatization, compulsion, anxiety, depression and total SCL-90 were (1.26±0.19), (1.42±0.23), (1.19±0.28), (1.20±0.16) and (121.81±9.59) points, significantly lower than (1.83±0.25), (1.68±0.37), (1.82±0.41), (1.71±0.33) and (145.85±9.12) points in the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( t values were from 4.580 to 13.659, P<0.001). Conclusion:Meditation therapy can effectively decrease disease progress and promote mental health in patients with acute myocardial infarction.
ABSTRACT
In order to assess the thermal effect of different holmium laser fiber during lithotripsy with WOLF F4.5/6.5 pediatric ureteroscope, we established an impacted ureter calculi model. Under 100mmHg irrigation pressure, regional temperature of different holmium laser fiber with varied working time and power were recorded. We found that the regional temperature was related with laser fiber diameters, power and working time settings. With 550 μm laser fiber, laser firing time longer than 3 s or 365 μm laser fiber firing more than 6 s, regional temperature exceeded 42℃, which would bring thermal injury towards ureter and subsequently cause ureter stricture.
ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:To observe therapeutic efficacy and safety of Shensong yangxin capsule combined with low-dose ami-odarone in the treatment of ventricular tachyarrhythmia. METHODS:In retrospective analysis,106 patients with ventricular tachyar-rhythmia were divided into control group and observation with 53 cases in each group according to drug use. Based on conventional treatment,control group was additionally given Amiodarone tablet (first week:0.2 g each time,3 times a day;second week:0.2 g each time,2 times a day;third week to the end of the treatment:0.2 g each time,1 times a day),orally. Observation group was given Amiodarone tablet (first week:0.2 g each time,twice a day;second week to the end of the treatment:0.2 g each time,1 times daily),orally +Shensong yangxin capsule 1.6 g,3 times a day,orally. Both groups were treated for 8 weeks. Clinical effica-cy,blood pressure,heart rate and electrocardiogram(PR period and QT period)and the cardiac cardioversion time were compared between 2 groups,and the occurrence of ADR was also recorded during treatment. RESULTS:After treatment,total response rate of observation group(94.34%)was higher than that of control group(81.13%),the incidence of ADR was lower than that of con-trol group (3.77% vs. 13.21%) and the cardiac cardioversion time was shorter than that of control group,with statistical signifi-cance(P0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Based on conventional treatment, Shensong yangxin capsule combined with low-dose amiodarone have good therapeutic efficacy with rapid response for ventricular arrhythmia,it can significantly improve the heart rate of the patients,and the effect is faster with good safety .

Objective To explore the value of preventive nursing process in the management of incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) in the department of neurology. Methods From January 2016 to May 2016, 38 hospitalized patients with neurological disorders were set as the control group . The control group was given routine nursing according to traditional way, and another 38 patients hospitalized from June 2016 to October 2016 who were set as the observation group were implemented with IAD preventive nursing process, including the training of nurses, risk factor evaluation,measures implented and IAD health education. The two groups were compared in terms of incidence, severity and harms of IAD. Results The incontinence incidence of IAD in the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The IADS score of the observation group was significantly lower as well (P<0.05). Conclusion Preventive nursing process can help to reduce the risk and severity of IADS in the patients with urinary incontinence in neurology department.

Objective To investigate the relationship of obstructive sleep apnea and atherosclerotic cerebral artery stenosis.Methods One hundred and twenty patients with acute cerebral infarction were enrolled in the study.Patients underwent polysomnography monitoring;according to the results, the sleep apnea/hypopnea index ( AHI) was ≥5/h in 60 patients ( OSA group) and AHI was 0.05).The rates of increased BMI [(26.07 ±2.39)vs.(23.59 ±2.73) kg/m2] and hypertension [70%(42/60)vs.43%(26/60)] in OSA group were higher than those in non-OSA group (t=5.304,χ2 =7.603, all P0.05 ) . The severity of cerebral artery stenosis in OSA group was higher than that in non-OSA group (χ2 =17.801, P0.05).Conclusion The study indicates that there is a close relationship between OSA and stenosis of atherosclerotic cerebral arteries.

ObjectiveTo explore the diagnosis,treatment and prognosis situation of traumatic retroperitoneal hematoma(TRH). Methods The full clinical data of 75 patients with TRH were retrospectively analyzed. Results5 cases of 62 surgical patients died,accounted for surgery patients more than 8.1%.57 cases all cured.Including one for knife led to the rupture of the spleen vessel,abdominal aortic injury,surgery died in hemorrhagic shock,the cumulative loss amounted to 5 000ml;1 case with severe traumatic brain injury,died of a cerebral herniation.The other 3 cases died of cancer and multiple organ failure.13 cases of conservative treatment of all discharged.70 cases were cured,the cured rate was 93.3%. ConclusionMultiple trauma should pay special attention the existence of TRH.When conditions allowed,CT examination should be taken to clear the presence of retroperitoneal hematoma and the presence of abdominal organ injuries,and accurate knowledge of the principles of TRH treatment,strictly control surgical indications and retroperitoneal hematoma detection indication should be grasped to save lives and reduce mortality.
