ABSTRACT

The synthetic antithyroidal secondary effects 300 Basedow's disease cases, recorded between 1975 and 1985 at Avicenne Hospital, are studied. It emphasized 7,67% of the frequency which is solely by lesser occurences either hematologic [3,33%],cutaneous [2,67%], digestive [1%] or hepatic [0,67%]. The synthetis antithyroidals posology and thier administration delay don't have an effect on the supervening of intolerance signs. However, the Carbimazol is the most and the best tolerated. These effects don't challenge the treatment of hyperthyroidism and the Basedow's disease more espacially by the synthetic antithyroidals. But, they require a regulary hematologic and clinical observation during the treatment duration

ABSTRACT

Many epidemiologic, clinic and experimental arguments suggest that chronic hyperglycemia is the main factor of diabetic microangiopathy. The advent of blood glucose control in the course of the last years represents indisputably an important therapeutic progress. That's the only reliable monitoring method if we want to approach normoglycemia. The method gives security and motivation to the patient and improves his comfort. The balance of blood glucose is better later because of reinforced education and a privileged relation between doctor and patient. It necessitates also an optimal diagram of insulinotherapy. To avoid failure, the treatment must be adapted to each patient's needs and become a wide part of their education and motivation

ABSTRACT

Tuberculosis of thyroid gland is a rare disease, the diagnosis of which is based on bacteriological and/or histological criteria and on the notion of an isolated thyroid infection. Bringing 2 observations, the authors recall the thyroid gland's resistance to infection generally, and tuberculosis in particular; the different clinical pictures and imperatives of treatment being no different from the other localizations of tuberculosis. This treatment enables a simplification of the evolution of the disease and a preservation of the thyroid function
