ABSTRACT

This study deeply explores the cause of high incidence of PHE-associated psychological crisis in college students, and advocates the teaching management staffs to take full advantage of the present information technology on college students' psychological assessment, daily psychological education, and related information collection, with the current college information construction platforms. The aim is to build an early warning and intervention mechanism that is susceptible to college students' psychological crisis, and to better protect the mental health of college students.

ABSTRACT

This paper systematically reviews the relevant literature on early clinical exposure (ECE) in China in recent years. It analyzes the main contents of literature, summarizes the various forms of ECE that the colleges and universities provide, and analyzes its positive effect on the students' learning interest and ability, their humanistic care for patients, as well as the teacher's self-improvement. Finally, according to the actual practical situation of ECE in medical universities in China and relevant experience from foreign studies, it is proposed that China should increase the emphasis on ECE in colleges and universities, strengthen the construction of teaching staff, and establish a scientific and systematic evaluation system.

ABSTRACT

Objective To describe and analyze the status quo of the doctor and nurse configuration in Heilongjiang Province, and to study their cultivation condition while predicting the number of medical staff. Methods Through the health workforce database of Heilongjiang Province in 2014,using Excel 2007 statistical software, the status quo of doctor and nurse configuration was analyzed. The grey prediction model was also used to analyze the number of medical staff in Heilongjiang province from 2004 to 2014,and the number of medical staff in Heilongjiang province from 2016 to 2018 was predicted. Results Up to 2015,the number of doctors and nurses in Heilongjiang Province accounted for 0.42% of the total population, composed of mainly young and middle-aged staff and mostly with bachelor's degree and junior college certificate.Doctor-to-nurse ratio was 1:0.96.The grey prediction model indicated that the number of medical staff in Heilongjiang Province would increase year by year, and the inversion of doctor-to-nurse ratio would be eased. Conclusion The reform and development of medical education in Heilongjiang Province has promoted the optimization of the professional title structure and educational structure. It is expected that by 2016 Heilongjiang medical care ratio inversion problem will be completely resolved.

ABSTRACT

Innovative self-efficacy is the degree of self-confidence in the individual's ability to per-form innovative activities. Although the theory of innovation self-efficacy is shorter, but as an important indicator of innovation ability measurement, it has been accepted by scholars in various countries, and innovative self-efficacy provides a new perspective for the cultivation of innovative talents. The research of innovation self-efficacy is still the initial stage. Chinese and foreign scholars have made some progress in measuring tools, antecedents, aftereffect and development, but there are still obvious differences and defi-ciencies,and the research results are not abundant. The future research will focus on the measurement tools, influencing factors and research direction of three aspects of systematic research to improve the theory of innovation self-efficacy.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study classroom teaching quality evaluation standards from two perspectives of teachers and students, and comparatively study difference of evaluation standards for teachers and students. Methods Questionnaire survey method is adopted.Classroom teaching quality evaluation entry questionnaire is distributed to 320 teachers and 560 students.SPSS 18.0 software is utilized for statistical analysis on the collected data.Expert consultation method is applied to determine membership degree on the analysis results.Finally,14 experts and 20 students are invited to sequence the importance of each dimension obtained after membership determination.Expert evaluation method is used for calculating the weight of each dimension thereof. Results Generally, the results show that all the teaching quality evaluation standards which have been selected by teachers and students can be assorted into 5 dimensionalities, namely teaching content, teaching method, teaching norm, teaching organization and students' learning condition.Particularly, teachers maintain that 23 indicators can be chosen to assess the classroom teaching quality while students think that 24 items are qualified for evaluating the room teaching quality, and they reach a consensus in 13 items.Besides, there is a big difference in their weight of the 5 dimensionalities. Conclusions By comparing and analyzing the choices and opinions about the classroom teaching quality evaluation standard between teachers and students,we learn that the two relative groups' assessments and comments are far different mainly attributing to their different evaluation perspectives on classroom teaching quality. Therefore,we advise different evaluation indicator systems should be adopted respectively for evaluation subjects in classroom teaching quality evaluation.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of human hair keratin (HHK) in peripheral nerve repair and explore the mechanism of sciatic nerve regeneration.

METHODSRat models of sciatic nerve damage was established by creating a 10-mm gap in the sciatic nerve, which was bridged with a HHK implant. Histological examinations of the nerve tissues were performed at different time points after the surgery.

RESULTSDuring the period from 2 days to 2 weeks following HHK implantation, Schwann cells were found to undergo dedifferentiation and proliferate along the HHK implant. Three weeks after HHK implantation, numerous macrophages and megakaryocytes occurred around the HHK, and a large quantity of regenerated Schwann cells aligned in orderly fashion was seen between the fine filaments of partially degraded HHK, where axons and capillaries were also observed. Six weeks later, massive nerve fibers and capillaries developed around the HHK, and at 9 weeks, the HHK implant was substantially degraded and numerous regenerated nerve fibers occurred characterized by obvious epineurium and perineurium. Till 12 weeks after HHK implantation, HHK was almost completely degraded and replaced by the newly regenerated nerve fibers that had grown across the nerve defect.

CONCLUSIONSHHK is an ideal material for nerve injury repair. Apocytosis plays a key role in the differentiation process of highly differentiated Schwann cells into immature Schwann cells following nerve injury. As a protective mechanism, the axons undergo enclosure and dissociation following injuries, and the intact axons give rise to growth cones that extend fibers of growing buds to competitively bind the one or more Schwann cells, but only one such but finally develops into a complete axon. The nerve fiber barrier membrane is derived from the capillary menchymal stem cells and the outmost vascular barrier membrane. The regeneration of the Schwann cells, axons and the nerve membrane is the result of self-organization through a well synchronized and coordinated mechanism.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo culture interleukin-1beta (IL-1beta)-activated Schwann cells (SCs) with human hair keratins (HHKs) for artificial nerve bridge construction.

METHODSSCs purified by primary culture with or without IL-1beta activation were cultured with HHKs decorated by extracellular matrix (ECM), and the artificial nerve bridge was implanted into the defect of rat sciatic nerve. The morphology of the SCs cultured with HHKs was monitored by inverted microscope, scanning electron microscope and evaluated by immunocytochemical staining, and the expression of nerve growth factor (NGF) in the sciatic nerve was observed by in situ hybridization.

RESULTSActivated SCs showed better ability to adhere to the HHKs and grew well. The HHKs component in the artificial nerve bridge underwent degradation in the sciatic nerve defect after 3 to 4 weeks, and IL-1beta activation resulted in enhanced NGF expression in the SCs.

CONCLUSIONThe constructed artificial nerve bridge by three-dimensional culture of IL-1beta-activiated SCs with HHKs decorated by ECM promotes the repair of sciatic nerve defects and accelerates sciatic nerve regeneration.
