ABSTRACT
Post transplant lymphoproliferative disease(PTLD)is one of the most serious malignant complication in children after solid organ transplantation.Immunosuppression after transplantation and Epstein-Barr virus infection are the two main reasons for the onset of PTLD.The diagnosis of the disease depends on pathology, which includes early lesions, monomorphic PTLD, polymorphic PTLD and Hodgkin′s lymphoma PTLD.The treatment includes reduction in immunosuppression, rituximab, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, etc.The selection of chemotherapy mainly depends on pathology.The advance in the management of PTLD will be reviewed in the manuscript.
ABSTRACT
Objective:To evaluate the clinical application of balloon dilation Eustachian tuboplasty (BET) in patients with Eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD). Method:Twenty-five patients who were diagnosed as ETD and reserved BET surgery were retrospectively analyzed in this study. Result:After 1-year's follow-up, among 25 ETD patients, the total cure rate was 55.9% and the effective rate was 85.3%. The cure rate and effective rate was 52.9% and 76.5% in the delayed opening of the ET group; 58.8% and 94.1% in the unopened group, which was higher than the other one. Conclusion:BET surgery is safe and effective in the treatment of BET patients.

BACKGROUND:An amyloid-beta (Aβ) aggregation in the brain can induce nerve cel apoptosis, loss of synapses and functional damage. However, there is stil no effective intervention. Improving the synaptic plasticity provides an important direction for the treatment of early Alzheimer’s disease. OBJECTIVE: To screen the best model of Alzheimer’s disease and to explore the expression of synapse-associated proteins in Aβ25-35-injured PC12 neurons. METHODS:PC12 cels were induced by 50 μg/L nerve growth factor to differentiate into neuronal-like cels. Then, these cels were treated with Aβ25-35 at different concentrations. Consequently, cel survival rate was detected using cel counting kit-8; neurogranin and neuregulin immunofluorescence stainings were used to observe morphological changes of model cels; western blot used to detect the expression level of neurogranin, calmodulin kinase II, postsynaptic density-95 proteins. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Over time, the survival rate of PC12 neurons induced by Aβ25-35 was decreased in a dose-dependent manner. Shortened synaptic length, neuronal atrophy and sparsely interconnected neurons were visible. Expression levels of neurogranin, calmodulin kinase II and postsynaptic density-95 proteins were al down-regulated. These findings indicate that to screen the cel model of Alzheimer’s disease, the optimal concentration and interventional time of Aβ25-35are 10 μmol/L and 48 hours, respectively.

Objective:To observe influence of statins on antiplatelet activity of clopidogrel and provide basis for ra‐tionality of statins combined clopidogrel treatment .Methods :According to random number table ,a total of 90 pa‐tients diagnosed as acute coronary syndrome were equally divided into clopidogrel group ,clopidogrel + simvastatin group and clopidogrel + pravastatin group . Three groups received corresponding routine medication treatment . Plasma levels of platelet αgranule membrane protein (CD62P) ,lysosomal granule membrane glycoprotein (CD63) and maximum platelet aggregation rate (MPAR) were measured and compared among three groups before and 3d af‐ter treatment .Results:Compared with before treatment ,after treatment ,there were significant reductions in plas‐ma levels of CD62P and CD63 and MPAR in three groups , P0.05 all .Conclusion:Short‐term and routine dose of statins combined clo‐pidogrel is feasible in treatment of acute coronary syndrome .The combined use of them will not affect antiplatelet function of clopidogrel .

This investigation introduces GPU (Graphics Processing Unit)- based CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) technology into signal processing of ophthalmic FD-OCT (Fourier-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography) imaging system, can realize parallel data processing, using CUDA to optimize relevant operations and algorithms, in order to solve the technical bottlenecks that currently affect ophthalmic real-time imaging in OCT system. Laboratory results showed that with GPU as a general parallel computing processor, the speed of imaging data processing using GPU+CPU mode is more than dozens times faster than traditional CPU platform based serial computing and imaging mode when executing the same data processing, which reaches the clinical requirements for two dimensional real-time imaging.

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To explore the mischief mechanism of oxidative stress in the varicocele (VC).</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Serum was taken from the spermatic and peripheral veins on ligation of the internal spermatic veins in 28 infertile males with VC. Experimental VC was established in male rats by partial ligation of the left renal vein. And testis tissue was taken three months after operation. The nitric oxide(NO), nitric oxide synthetase (NOS), xanthine oxidase (XO), lactic acid(Lac) and lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) in the serum of 28 infertile males with VC and the testis tissue of the VC rats were detected by spectrophotometry.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>NO, NOS, XO and Lac in the serum of internal spermatic veins in the infertile males with VC were significantly higher than in the serum of peripheral veins in the VC patients (P < 0.01, P < 0.05). LDH was lower than that in peripheral serum. NO and XO of the left testis tissue in the VC rats were higher compared with the control group (P < 0.01). Lac in the left testis of the VC rats was lower than that in the control group rats (P < 0.01).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>NO, NOS and XO in the serum of the VC patients and in the testis tissues of the VC rats were increased, and Lac and LDH were changed obviously, which might not only disturb spermatogenesis, but also inhibit sperm motility. Therefore they might be one of the causes of infertility in VC patients.</p>

A high performance liquid chromatographic assay has been developed for the simultaneous determination of four water soluble vitamins,thia min, ribo-flavin, uiacin and pyridoxine, in cereal products and fresh vegetables. For hydrolyzing sample in 0.4 mol/L HCL, autoclaving at 120℃, 15 psi for 30 minutes, a ?Bondapak column (300mm ? 3.9mm, Waters Co), a mobile phase of methanol-water (30:70) (0.005 mol/L heptanesulfonic acid) and a flow rate of 1.0ml/min gave the most satisfactory separation of the four vitamins. A double channel detector was used: three vitamins (B1, B2 and B5) were detected by UV spectrophotometry (254 nm) first, pyridoxine (B6) was detected by fluorometry (EX 290 nm, EM 390 nm) afterwards. Detection limits were 2, 5, 5 and 2ng, linear ranges were 5-40 ng, 5-50 ng, 5-40 ng and 5-50 ng for B1, B2, B5 and Be, respectively. Recoveries were 91.3%-102% (B1), 103%-105% (B2), 92%-100% (B5) and 99%-100% (B6), comparing with reference method and checking with food composition tables, very satisfactory results were obtained by this method.
