ABSTRACT

@#To explore the potential mechanism of Qinfei Dayuan Granules for the treatment of pneumonia by the network pharmacology, the potential active ingredients and drug targets of Qinfei Dayuan Granules were obtained through the Integrative Pharmacology-based Research Platform of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCMIP). The "component-target-disease" network and PPI network were constructed by Cytoscape 3.7.2 software, and GO functional enrichment analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis were performed on the TCMIP platform to obtain a multi-dimensional network analysis of the "Chinese medicinal materials-chemical components-key targets-action pathways" and to explore the mechanism of its multi-component multi-target multi-action pathways of Qinfei Dayuan Granules for the treatment of pneumonia. A total of 474 active ingredients and 865 drug targets were identified from Qinfei Dayuan Granules; the key core targets of drugs include NF-κB, TNF-α, MAPK3, IL-1β, PTGS and CASP3, etc.. The results of GO functional enrichment analysis showed that drugs may interfere with inflammation through biological pathways such as immune regulation and apoptosis. KEGG signal pathway enrichment analysis showed that it was mainly related to the diabetic complications AGE-RAGE signaling pathway, IL-17 signaling pathway, T cell receptor signaling pathway and tumor necrosis factor signaling pathway, etc.. Qinfei Dayuan Granules can exert its effect on the treatment of pneumonia through inflammatory response and immune system with multi-ingredient, multi-target and multi-pathway pharmacological characteristics.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the feasibility and clinical efficacy of minimally invasive surgery combined with sentinel lymph node (SLN) biopsy for early gastric cancer (EGC).Methods The clinical data of 39 EGC patients undergoing minimally invasive surgery combined with sentinel lymph node biopsy from December 2008 to January 2014 were analyzed retrospectively. Results 36 SLN negative EGC patients received endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), and 3 SLN positive EGC patients underwent laparoscopic distal gastrectomy with D2 dissection. The mean number of SLN was (2.8 ± 1.0).The SLN detection rate and accuracy of determination of lymph node (LN) status were both 100%.The rate of LN metastasis in patients with EGC was 8% with no false negative rate.In ESD group, local recurrence and liver metastasis developed in one each cases.Meanwhile 1 patient in laparoscopic group sufferd postoperative liver and lung metastasis.Total disease free survival was 95%.Conclusions Minimally invasive surgery combined with sentinel lymph node biopsy for EGC is both safe and feasible.

ABSTRACT

Not only shofld the process of program establishment be emphasized for the management of the newly developed programs, but also great attention should be paid to the normal management after the establishment. The management and supervision should be practiced on the whole process of the programs newly developed by hospital departments so that the written report on the program advancement should be submitted in the half a year as planned.Furthermdre,an exclusive account should be opened for the granted fund of the program;and the establishment of new research program and the purchase of equipment should be approved according to the related rules and regulations of the hospital.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of hand-assisted laparoscopic colorectal resection. Methods Clinical data of 21 cases of hand-assisted laparoscopic colorectal resection in this hospital from October 2003 to August 2004 were retrospectively reviewed. Results The hand-assisted laparoscopic resection was accomplished in 20 cases. The mean operation time was 144 min, the mean blood loss was 120 ml, the mean number of dissected lymph nodes was 8.5, and the mean time to intestinal function recovery, 69 h. Postoperative abdominal bleeding was found in 1 case, which was cured with conservative therapy. A conversion to open surgery was needed in 1 case. Conclusions Hand-assisted laparoscopic colorectal resection safe, feasible, and radical, with advantages of fewer complications and simplicity of performance.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the feasibility of endoscopic thyroidectomy with bipolar electrocoagulation. Methods Endoscopic partial thyroidectomy via precordial approach, mainly by using bipolar electrocoagulation and scissors, was accomplished in 21 patients with thyroid tumors with a diameter of 0.7~5.5 cm. Results The operation was accomplished endoscopically in 20 patients, whereas a conversion to open thyroidectomy was conducted in 1 patient. The mean incision length was 22 mm, the operation time was 69?47 min, and the blood loss was 55?41 ml. Postoperative analgesic treatment was required in 2 patients and no serious complications happened. Conclusions Endoscopic thyroidectomy with bipolar electrocoagulation is feasible in the absence of ultrasonic scalpel.
