ABSTRACT
Objective To explore an effective therapy for post-operative urine retention. Methods A total of 264cases were randomly recruited into a intervention group (135 cases) and a control group (129 cases). The intervention group was treated with acupuncture and acupoints massage, and the control group was treated with conventional therapy. Results The total effective rate of was 97.04% and 77.52% in the intervention group and the control group respectively, showing significant difference (χ2=28.657, P＜0.01); The average time for the first time urination of two groups was 24.38min and 35.41 min respectively, also showing significant difference (t= -14.552, P＜0.01). Conclusion Acupuncture and acupoints massage was an effective way for the treatment of post-operative urinary retention.
ABSTRACT
Objective To study the structures of the plasmids of Klebsiella pneumoniae KF3 at the genome metagenome level througth with whole plasmid DNA sequencing, to analyze the functional genes carried by plasmid and to identify the correlation of resistance and pathogenicity between the plasmids and the host strains. Methods The alkaline lysis method was used to extract plasmids. We constructed the small insert pUC18 library and the large insert Forsmid library, sequenced and used the Phred / Phrap / Consed package to assemble these sequences and gained a complete sequence. The open reading frame(ORFs) were predicted by the Glimmer software and annotated, analyzed the functions of these genes. Results We successfully constructed the pUC18 library and the Fosmid libraries for the plasmid DNA and obtained three circular double-stranded DNA plasmids: pKF3-70 (69 477 bp), pKF3-90 (91 327 bp) and pKF3-147 ( 147 416 bp). There were drug resistant genes, conjugative transfer genes and mobile DNA elements identified on three plasmids. Conclusion The three plasmids of KF3 could be transferred among different strains. It would lead to the dissemination of the resistant genes.

Objecfive To observe the effects of combined acupuncture and point injection in the treatment of diabetic ophthalmoplegia patients.Methods 40 patients with diabetic ophthalmoplegia were randomly recruited into a control group and a treatment group,with 20 patients in each group.The control group was treated with acupuncture,and the treatment group was additionally treated with point injection.Therapeutic effects were observed after the treatment.Results Effective rate was 85% and 55%in the treatment group and the control group respectively,showing significant difference(P=0.0384<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with point injection is effective in treating patients with diabetic ophthalmoplegia.

Objective To observe clinical effect of treating postoperative rectal cancer with chemotherapy and herbal enema.Methods 45 cases with postoperative rectal cancer were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group.The control group was treated with conventional chemotherapy,and the treatment group was treated with chemotherapy,herbal enema and nursing.The short-term effect,adverse reaction and long-term effect were observed in both groups.Results The short-term effect in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The adverse reaction of the treatment group was markedly decreased.The three-year survival rate and recurrence rate of the two groups had a significant difierence (P＜0.05,P＜0.01).Conclusion The treatment of chemotherapy and herbal enema on postoperative rectal cancer was better than conventional chemotherapy

Objective To observe clinical effect of treating bedsore with myijinhuang powder. Methods 35 patients with bedsore were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group. The treatment group was treated with ruyijinhuang powder, and the control group was treated with routine western medicine. The clinical effect was observed in both groups. Results The clinical total effective rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05) . Conclusion The treatment of bedsore with ruyihuangjin powder has good effect.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine retention-enema in the treatment of ulcerative colitis. Methods 116 cases with ulcerative colitis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with58 cases in each group. The treatment group adopted the therapy of traditional Chinese medicine retention-enema after cleaning up the bowel, while the control group adopted the therapy of conventional Western Medicine retention-enema. Both of the two groups were treated for one course. Results The total effective rate of was 87% in the treatment group and 42.5% in the control group. The difference between the two groups was obvious (P＜0.05), with the treatment group being better than the control group. The retention time of medicine in intestinal tract was obviously prolonged in the treatment group. Conclusion The clinical efficacy of tradidonal Chinese medicine retention-enema treatment is obviously better than conventional Western medicine retention-enema treatment.
