ABSTRACT

Proliferating trichilemmal tumour is a rare neoplasm which may closely resemble squamous cell carcinoma. However, there are certain distinctive features that can help the pathologist to differentiate these two lesions. Adequate histologic examination is important in the evaluation of these tumours as these neoplasms behave in a benign fashion
