ABSTRACT
Qualidade de vida (QV) atualmente é tema de inúmeraspesquisas em diversos ramos da sociedade. O presente estudo visaverifi car o índice de QV de uma classe de trabalho da área da saúde,os profi ssionais fi sioterapeutas atuantes no município de Joinville/SC. Para isto foi realizado um estudo descritivo, exploratório, decorte transversal. A população estudada foi composta por 100fi sioterapeutas, escolhidos de forma aleatória. Os participantesda pesquisa receberam em mãos dois questionários que deveriampreencher. O primeiro questionário era sobre o perfi l de amostra,este desenvolvido pelo autor, e o outro era o SF-36, composto por11 perguntas. Os dados obtidos através das respostas dos fi sioterapeutasforam trabalhados e organizados no programa MicrosoftExcel 2003 e analisados através das observações das médias geradasem cada domínio e uma média geral para alguns grupos do perfi lde amostra que foram selecionados para análise. Após verifi cou-seuma relação negativa entre a jornada de trabalho semanal igual a 7dias e QV, pois em menos dias de trabalho há mais QV, uma relaçãopositiva entre idade dos fi sioterapeutas, pois maior a idade maiora QV e também entre a jornada diária de trabalho, que quantomenor, maior é a QV...
Quality of life is currently a topic of countless researches in severalramifi cations of society. Th is study aimed to analyze the qualityof life index of a group of health workers, the physical therapistsworking in Joinville/SC. Th en a descriptive, explorative and crosssection study was done. Th e population studied was composed of100 physical therapists chosen randomly. Th e participants of this researchreceived two questionnaires. Th e fi rst questionnaire was aboutthe sample profi le, developed by the author, and the other was theSF-36, composed of 11 questions.
