ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate general rules and characteristics of adverse reactions induced by shuxuetong injection to provide some referential guidance for rational administration in clinic.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 83 reports of ADR induced by traditional Chinese medicine injections during the period from 1978 to 2013 retrieved from CNKI and CBM database.Results ADR of shuxuetong injection often occurred in the people aged over 60,53.01% (44/83) of total patients.ADR may involve multiple organs and systems,with the dominant damage of skin and female accessories (80/83).Clinical manifestations of ADR were various,and mainly were allergic reactions.Conclusion Doctors and pharmacists should know the general rules and characteristics of ADR.Administration of shuxuetong injection should be under strict monitoring and examination to reduce the occurrence of serious ADR.
