ABSTRACT
Se presenta un paciente de 18 años de edad con historia de dolor en Fosa Iliaca Derecha desde meses anteriores que llevó varios tratamientos e ingresos sin llegar a un diagnóstico, después de realizar exámenes variados entre los cuales se incluyen colonoscopia y laparoscopia se decide operar con el diagnóstico de apendicitis crónica luego de un amplio debate en el servicio de cirugía del Hospital Militar Dr Mario Muñoz Monroy. Se realiza amplia revisión del tema y se opera el paciente confirmando el diagnóstico y desapareciendo los síntomas del mismo.
We present an 18-years-old patient with a history of pain at the Right Lower Quadrant for some months, receiving several treatments and being entered to the hospital several times without arriving to a diagnosis. After making different examinations, including colonoscopy and laparoscopy we decided to operate with the final diagnosis of chronic appendicitis after a wide debate at the surgery service of the Military Hospital of Matanzas Mario Muñoz Monroy. We carried out a review of the theme and confirmed the diagnosis, disappearing its symptoms.
