ABSTRACT

Fragile X syndrome (FXS) is one of the most common causes of mental retardation, but modern medicine has not yet produced a good therapeutic effect. Clinical practice and scientific studies have showed that acupuncture has a marked therapeutic effect on mental retardation, but researches on the mechanism of its action are still not mature. In view of this, this article will focus on the present situation of FXS study and expound the feasibility of NLGN-3 protein as a target for the mechanism of action of acupuncture on FXS.

ABSTRACT

Objective To assess the effective of helicobacter pylori in gallbladder malignant disease ,cholelithiasis ,cholecysti‐tis .Methods The literature about helicobacter pylori and gallbladder disease were collected in EMbase ,Pubmed ,VIP and CBM from inception to May ,2015 .Two reviewers independently screened the literature according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria , extracted the data ,and assessed the quality ,and then the meta‐analysis were performed by using Stata11 software .Results A total of 24 case control study were included .The results of meta‐analysis showed that ,helicobacter pylori had a higher incidence rate in gallbladder maliganant disease and cholelithiasis(OR=5 .31 ,95% CI:2 .34 -12 .05 ,P= 0 .000)and (OR=1 .84 ,95% CI:1 .13-2 .98 ,P=0 .014) compared with control group .Also it have influence on cholecystitis (OR= 9 .92 ,95% CI:4 .04 -24 .39 ,P=0 .000) .Conclusion Helicobacter pylori is a risk factor of inducing cholelithiasis and gallbladder malignancy disease ,cholecystitis .

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the influence of transcriptional factor Sp1 on expression of bile acids transporters MRP3 and MRP4 so as to perfect the regulatory mechanism of MRP3 and MRP4 expression. Methods Transformed Sp1-overexpression and Sp1 siRNA plas-mids to HepG2 cell and obtained the stably cells line. Then the expression levels of bile acids transporters MRP3 and MRP4 were measured by RT-qPCR,and the change of protein levels were detected by Western blot. Results The stably cells line Sp1-OE-HepG2 and Sp1siRNA-HepG2 were successfully transformed. The mRNA expression and protein levels of MRP3 and MRP4 were significantly increased in Sp1-OE-HepG2 cells, among which the mRNA expression of MRP3 mRNA increased 2.8 times, the protein levels of MRP3 increased 3.0 times, and the mRNA expression and protein levels of MRP4 increased 3.2 times and 2.5 times respectively.Conversely, the mRNA expression and protein levels of MRP3 and MRP4 were decreased in Sp1 siRNA-HepG2 cells, among which the mRNA expression of MRP3 mRNA de-creased 52%,the mRNA expression of MRP4 mRNA decreased 58%,the protein levels of MRP3 decreased 57%,and the protein levels of MRP4 decreased 60%.Conclusion Transcriptional factor Sp1 could regulate the expression of bile acids transporters MRP3 and MRP4 in HepG2 cells.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo compare the difference of clinical efficacy on sleeping disorder in the children with encephalopathy between the combined therapy of acupuncture at head points and seed-pressure at ear points and the simple acupuncture at head points.

METHODSThirty cases of sleeping disorder induced by encephalopathy werei randomized into an observation group and a control group, 15 cases in each one. In the observation group, the combined therapy of acupuncture at head points and seed-pressure at ear points was adopted. The head points in cluded Sishencong (EX-HN 1), Shenting (GV 24) and Benshen (GB 13). The ear points were the positive reactive sites in the cymba and cavum conchae. In the control group, acupuncture was applied simply to the acupoints on the head. The treatment was given once on every Tuesday and Friday a week separately, 30 min each time. Totally, 16 treatments were required. Children's sleeping habit questionnaire (CSHQ) was used to observe the sleep improvements and the efficacy in the patients of the two groups.

RESULTSIn the observation group, the results of sleep resistance, sleep anxiety, night sleep wake, parasomnias, sleep dyspnea, daytime somnolence and the total score after treatment were all improved apparently as compared with those before treatment (all P<0. 05). In the control group, the results of night sleep wake, parasomnias, daytime somnolence and the total score after treatment were improved apparently than those before treatment (all P<0. 05). In the observation group, the results of sleep resistance, sleep dyspnea and the total score after treatment were better than those in the control group (all P<0. 05) and the scores of sleep anxiety and daytime somnolence in the control group were better than those in the observation group after treatment (both P<0. 05).

CONCLUSIONThe combined therapy of acupuncture at head points and seed-pressure at the positive reactive sites in the cymba and cavum conchae achieves the superior efficacy on sleep resistance and sleep dyspnea as compared with the simple acupuncture. The efficacy of simple acupuncture is more satisfactory on sleep anxiety and daytime somnolence.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the prognosis in risk of ventricular arrhythmia in coronary heart disease with heart rate variability (H RV), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and other clinical background dat a. Methods A total of 81 patients were divided into ventricular premature beats (VPBs)≥30/h group and VPBs<30/h group. Their LVEF, HRV and cli nical data were studied and analyzed. Results The age and blood pressure between 2 groups had no significant difference. LVEF, standard deviati on of all normal RR intervals (SDNN), SD of the average of NN interval (SDANN) a nd HRV triangular index (HRVI) were significant less in VPBs≥30/h group than in VPBs<30/h group (43.29±15.38 vs 67.33±11.47,P<0.01;90.05±22.2 9 vs 117.90±30.32,P<0.05;77.43±17.78 vs 105.69±28.79,P<0.05 ;24.54±8.70 vs 32.70±10.87,P<0.05, respectively). Incidence of myo cardial infarction (MI) was larger in VPBs≥30/h group than VPBs<30/h group. LVE F was the independent predictable factor in risk of ventricular arrhythmia with multinomial regression logistic analysis(B=0.119, P=0.032). Co nclusion Our findings indicate that LVEF is an independent predictable factor i n risk of ventricular arrhythmia in coronary heart disease. Although HRV and MI history can not be used to predict VPB, significant difference is found between 2 groups. High-risk patients could be selected successfully when these data are considered in combination.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effects of ramipril on nitric oxide(NO) concentration and endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS) activation in lung of rats with pulmonary arterial hypertension induced by monocrotaline(MCT).Methods Sixty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups: normal control group,MCT group and ramipril group.Rats in MCT group and ramipril group were subcutaneously injected with 60mg/kg of MCT.Then the rats in ramipril group received ramipril gavage and rats in MCT group received normal saline gavage for 4 weeks, respectively.Rats in control group were subcutaneously injected with normal saline first and then received normal saline gavage for 4 weeks.Right ventricular systolic pressure(RVSP) and right ventricle hypertrophy index(RVHI) were measured. The ratio of arteriol wall thickness/vascular external diameter(WT%) and wall area percentage(WA%) were evaluated.NO concentration in lung was determined.eNOS,P-Ser1177-eNOS and Akt phosphorylation were analyzed by Western blotting. Results The RVSP,RVHI,WT%,WA% were significantly increased, and NO concentration, the level of eNOS,P-Ser1177-eNOS,the state of Akt phosphorylation were significantly decreased in MCT group compared with that in control group(P
