ABSTRACT

A plan of constructing a platform of excavating and protecting characteristic technology of diagnosis and treatment in research-based hospital of TCM was put forward by Shuguang Hospital Affiliated with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Research Institution of Characteristic Technology of Diagnosis and Treatment Affiliated with Shanghai Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The platform has begun to take shape on the basis of previous theoretical thought and preliminary practice. It has its own management system and working standards and contents with a clear and definite developing direction. Its working contents include excavating and protecting clinical experience of famous and aged practitioner of Chinese medicine, folk proved recipe and technology of diagnosis and treatment of TCM, intangible cultural heritage of TCM. Some problems appeared during the work, such as the evaluation criterion of the folk proved recipe and technology of diagnosis and treatment, the management of clinical proving projects, the issue of intellectual property protection and so on, which must be further solved.

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo study the effect of TCM diagnostic method flow reconstruction and optimized management in the mass injuries emergency previewing reception.MethodsWorking mode of TCM optimized receiving and dispatching flow were established and enforced.Results27 batch of 216 cases were received by emergency previewing reception in 2009~2010.Compared to 2009,patient dispatching time was shorten by 3.0 min, area dispatching time was shorten by 2.9 min in average.Emergency treatment satisfaction was elevated from 65% to 95% and rescue successful rate was increased from 82.3% to 89.6%.ConclusionTCM diagnostic method flow reconstruction and optimized management improved the level of management of in the mass injuries emergency previewing reception and obtained better results.

ABSTRACT

AIM: To probe into the anti-epilepsy action of artificial Calculus Bovis,by observing its effect on the behavioral of the experimental epileptic rats, neuron loss in the hippocampus and hilus, and GAD positive cell alteration in the hippocampus.METHODS: SD rats were divided into three groups: group A(artificial Calculus Bovis treatment group);group B(acute epilepsy group) and group C(control group).A model of acute epilepsy rats was established by PTZ.The rat's behavioral alteration was observed by the Racine' scale. The neurons in the hippocampus and hilus were calculated by Nissl staining. The GAD positive cells were observed by immunohistochemical staining.RESULTS: The latency of the first seizure in group A was longer than that in group B,while the seizure times in group A was less than that in group B.Besides,in group A,both the neuron loss amount in the hippocampus and hilus and the GAD positive cell loss amount in the hippocampus were less than those in group B.CONCLUSION: The artificial Calculus Bovis prolonged the latency of the first seizure time, decreased the frequency of seizure, and prevented the neuron loss and protected the GAD positive cells.
