ABSTRACT
La gangrena de Fournier es una fascitis necrotizante subcutánea, fulminante y rápidamente progresiva de origen polimicrobiano que afecta principalmente la zona genital, perineal y pared anterior del abdomen a través de la fascia de Colles y la fascia de Scarpa. En el presente trabajo, se presenta 17 casos de pacientes entre 35 a 80 años con diagnóstico de Gangrena de Fournier, detectados en el Hospital Clínico Viedma, de enero 2008 a marzo del 2013. El estudio que se realizó es de tipo descriptivo, de corte transversal y retrospectivo. Entre los resultados se identificó que el grupo etario más afectado corresponden a pacientes entre 46 a 56 años, siendo el 47% varones y con ocupación albañiles; el factor predisponente de mayor importancia corresponde al consumo de alcohol y la tasa de mortalidad encontrada fue del 35%. La importancia de presentar estos casos radica en que un diagnóstico temprano posibilita la reducción en la mortalidad y una mejor respuesta al tratamiento.
Fournier's gangrene is a fulminating subcutaneous necrotizing fasciitis that has a polymicrobial origin that affects foremost genital area, perineum and the anterior wall of abdomen through Colles's fascia and Scarpa's fascia. In this work, it was taken into account 17 patients between 35 to 80 years old with Fournier's gangrene diagnosed in the Clínico Viedma's Hospital, in January 2008 to March 2013.The study type was descriptive, retrospective and cross-sectional.Among the results it was identified that the most affected group age was between 46-56 years old, being 47% male with masons occupation; the most important predisposing factor corresponds to the consumption of alcohol and the mortality rate that it was founded is 35%. The importance to show these cases lies in that an early diagnosis makes possible a decrease in the mortality rate and show a better answer to the treatment.

El mesotelioma maligno es un tumor adenomatoide de la línea de células no germinales, una neoplasia testicular muy rara, tan solo unos 100 casos han sido reportados en la literatura y la mayoría de los pacientes con este problema son mayores de 50 años. Más del 50% tienen el antecedente de exposición a los asbestos. Todos los pacientes con sospecha de un tumor maligno testicular deben someterse a una orquiectomía radical para evitar recidivas. Presentamos el caso clínico de un paciente de sexo masculino de 69 años de edad que acudió a consulta con un cuadro de 6 meses de evolución con aumento de volumen del escroto izquierdo y drenaje de líquido serohemático a través de un orificio fistuloso. Al paciente se le realizó el tratamiento quirúrgico mediante orquiectomía radical más hemiescrotectomía izquierda y finalmente el examen histopatológico evidenció un mesotelioma maligno testicular mixto.
Malignant mesothelioma is an adenomatoid tumor of non-germ line cells, a very rare testicular tumor, only about 100 cases have been reported in the literature and most patients with this condition are over 50 years. Over 50% had a history of asbestos exposure. All patients with suspected testicular malignancy should get a radical orchiectomy to prevent recurrences. We report a clinic case of a male patient of 69 years who consulted with a disease of 6 months duration with increased volume of left scrotum and serohematic fluid drainage through a fístula. The patient received surgical treatment with a radical orchiectomy and left hemiescrotectomy, histopathological examination revealed a mixed testicular malignant mesothelioma.
ABSTRACT
Se presenta el caso de un paciente de sexo masculino de 58 anos de edad, con el diagnóstico de Carcinoma papilar superficial de vejiga en quien se realizo inmunoterapia con BCG como tratamiento. El paciente presentó una cistitis granulomatosa como complicación de la inmunoterapia; recibiendo tratamiento específico y suspendiendo la inmunoterapia durante cinco meses. Posteriormente se retoma el tratamiento logrando la erradicación tumoral.
This is a case of a 58 years old male patient with the diagnostic of papilar carcinoma in bladder. It was done an immunotherapy with BCG as treatment. A short term complication of inmunotherapy was a granulomatous cystitis, that the patient presented , He received specific treatment and the inmunotherapy was suspended for five months; furthermore. we continue with the treatment achieving the tumoral erradication.
