ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the application value of artificial intelligence in dual-source CT coronary angiography. Methods:The imaging data of 50 patients with coronary artery diseases who received treatment in Benxi Central Hospital from January to December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent coronary computed tomography angiography examination and coronary arteriography. Coronary computed tomography angiography images were uploaded to the post-processing workstation and post-processed and analyzed by two radiologists. At the same time, the images were also post-processed by AI software and diagnosis reports were generated. In terms of coronary artery stenosis, the diagnostic results provided by AI software were compared with coronary angiography results. In terms of myocardial bridging, the diagnostic results provided by AI software were compared with radiologist's diagnosis. The accuracy of AI software was judged. Results:In the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and the negative predictive value of AI software were 93.22%, 81.32%, 76.39% and 94.87% respectively. These were well consistent with coronary arteriography results (Kappa = 0.71, P < 0.001). In the diagnosis of myocardial bridging, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and the negative predictive value of AI software were 30.77%, 81.45%, 25.81% and 84.87% respectively. These were poorly consistent with radiologists' diagnostic results (Kappa = 0.11, P = 0.162). Conclusion:AI-based dual-source CT coronary angiography is of high value in the diagnosis of coronary artery stenosis, but it is of low value in the diagnosis of myocardial bridging.

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo explore the mental health status and relevant factors among community residents during the normalization stage of prevention and control of COVID-19. MethodsFrom August 28 to September 7, 2020, an online cross-sectional survey using snowball sampling was conducted among community residents via Wenjuanxing platform, and their mental health status were assessed using Patients' Health Questionnaire Depression Scale-9 item(PHQ-9), Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 item(GAD-7), Insomnia Severity Index(ISI) and Chinese Perceived Stress Scale(CPSS). ResultsAmong the 476 community residents, the detection rates of depression, anxiety, insomnia and high perceived stress were 32.35%, 21.22%, 24.58% and 48.74%, respectively. In terms of gender, the detection rate of high perceived stress was higher in male than in female(χ2=5.269); in terms of marital status, the detection rates of depression and anxiety among the unmarried, divorced or widowed residents was higher than those of the married residents(χ2=5.251, 8.851); in terms of mental health service status, the detection rates of depression, anxiety, insomnia and high perceived stress among residents with mental health service needs was higher than those among residents without the needs(χ2=46.316, 66.934, 20.153, 21.576), with statistical significance(P<0.05 or 0.01). Correlation analysis showed that the age of community residents was negatively correlated with CPSS score(r=-0.171, P<0.01), sleep duration was negatively correlated with PHQ-9, GAD-7 and ISI scores(r=-0.210, -0.247, -0.297, P<0.01), and time spent following news on COVID-19 per day was negatively correlated with ISI score(r=-0.097, P<0.05). ConclusionDuring the normalization stage of prevention and control of COVID-19, the majority of community residents experience the symptoms of depression, anxiety, insomnia and high perceived stress. Male and younger residents are more likely to experience high levels of perceived stress. Those with shorter sleep duration and needs for mental health services are more likely to experience symptoms of depression, anxiety and insomnia, and those with short time spent following news on COVID-19 are more likely to experience insomnia symptom.

ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze main influencing factors of hospitalization expenses by support vector machine modeling, and explore effective influence factors analysis methods of medical expenses. Methods Random selection of six hospitals in Zhejiang province.Using hospital electronic medical record system of the hospitals and selecting three kinds of typical diseases of internal medicine and surgery,to build the support vector machine model,BP neural network model, and multiple linear regression model for comparison of analysis results. The SVM model is used to analyze three various diseases. Results The support vector machine model based on radial basis kernel function scored the highest prediction accuracy on the hospitalization expenses,up to 96.07%.In a mixed analysis of different diseases, analysis results of all three models pointed the main influence factors of hospitalization expense as days of stay, disease types, and hospital coding for the surgery. In the analysis by diseases individually, the influencing factors, though varying with diseases, key factors remain the same. Conclusion The support vector machine in the influence factor analysis is feasible in hospitalization expenses.According to the analysis results, the single disease payment system can be made rationally, which can effectively control excessive growth of medical expenses.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the effect of nano-realgar on proliferation and apoptosis of cervical cancer cells.
@*METHODS@#Different cervical cancer cell lines (Caski/HPV16+, adeno carcinoma; Hela/HPV18+, squmous carcinoma; C33A/HPV-, adeno carcinoma) were incubated with nano-realgar at different concentrations (5, 10, 20, 40 mg/L) for different times (24, 48, 72, 96 h). The morphology was observed under phase contrast microscope. The cell viability and apoptosis were examined by MTT and flow cytometry, respectively.
@*RESULTS@#The inhibitory effect of nano-realgar on the proliferation of cervical cancer cells was in a dose-dependent manner, with a range of inhibitory rate from 9.02% to 49.06%. Taking the group (20 mg/L) for an example, the inhibitory rates for Caski, Hela and C33A were 39.15%, 36.17% and 30.56%, respectively. The results of flow cytometry showed that the nano-realgar induced apoptosis in a concentration-dependent manner, with a range of apoptosis rate from 19.29% to 99.54%. Also taking the group (20 mg/L) for an example, the apoptosis rates for Caski, Hela and C33A were (60.43 ± 2.88)%, (41.95 ± 3.01)% and (43.49 ± 2.19)%, respectively. High concentration of nano-realgar (20 or 40 mg/L) could induce block of Hela and Caski at G2/M stage.
@*CONCLUSION@#Nano-realgar can inhibit the proliferation of different cervical carcinoma cell lines and can induce the cell apoptosis. The inhibitory effect on cell proliferation is strongest for Caski, followed by Hela and C33A. It can also induce G2/M stage block on HPV positive cervical cancer cells at high enough concentration.

ABSTRACT

Acute obstructive suppurative cholangitis (AOSC) is one of the most serious acute abdomen. The incidence of abdominal infection is significantly improved when patients were complicated with AOSC and diabetes mellitus, and then bile leakage, intestinal fistula and even death were induced by abdominal infection. The management of abdominal infection is very important for the prognosis of patients. One patient with AOSC and diabetes mellitus was admitted to the No.425 Hospital of PLA from May to July in 2013.Recurrent abdominal infection and abscess occurred after the operation due to his family members' refusal of surgery at early period and lax control of blood glucose before and after surgery, and then bile leakage and intestinal fistula were induced. The patient underwent operation for 3 times, and was cured after receiving fasting, gastrointestinal decompression, parental nutrition, somatostatin administration and antibiotic treatment.
