ABSTRACT
Eccrine porocarcinoma is a rare tumor of eccrine sweat ducts of the skin. We report a case successfully treated surgically. These tumors hardly have a typical clinical appearance but is easily recognizable histologically. Three morfological variants can be identified: a benign, a premalignant or dysplastic, and an invasive, malignant form. Symptoms such as bleeding, pain and itching are sugestive of a possible malignant transformation. Primary treatment is wide surgical excision. The value of adjunctive therapy has not been proved. Our report and review of the literature illustrate the natural history and pathological finding of this disease

A herniografia é um método relativamente simples e confiável para o diagnóstico, em pacientes adultos, de hérnia na regiäo pélvica. É indicada principalmente para pacientes com dor, peso ou desconforto na regiäo inguinal e com exame físico normal ou duvidoso, e também para atletas com distensöes na virilha, com sintomatologia presistente após tratamento clínico, e para pacientes com recidiva de hérnia após o tratamento cirúrgico. Dos 81 pacientes submetidos a herniografia, 45% apresentavam-se com hérnia. Nos pacientes operados näo ocorreu falso positivo ou falso negativo, embora tenha havido dificuldade de classificaçäo do tipo de hérnia em alguns casos. As complicaçöes näo foram preocupantes e näo mereceram tratamento especial
