ABSTRACT

Objective:To conduct an empirical study on the life attitude of medical students in one medical university in Wenzhou, and further strengthen the life education, to put forward some relevant suggestions for the prevention of recessive suicide and the cultivation of good life attitude of medical students. Methods: A stratified random sampling method was adopted to conduct the quantitative analysis to the survey results. Results: Most of medical students held positive attitudes to life, but some medical students still held negative attitudes to life (28. 6%), and had poor ability to master life common sense and skills (28. 6%). Medical students had weak ability to resist pressure, and academic stress was their major source of stress (27%) . Students easy to despise life, with the suicidal thought or behavior had a higher proportion (25. 8%). Different gender, grade, whether be single parent and economic level had significant significance for medical students to have suicidal thoughts or behaviors. Conclusion:By carrying out the belief education, survival education, setback education, love and care education and death education, it should cultivate the positive outlook on life of the medical students, so as to deliver qualified medical talents for the construction of "Healthy China".
