ABSTRACT

Objective:To comprehensively collect the clinical research evidence of Wuqinxi, and provide reference for the future clinical research. Methods:China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), WanFang Database, VIP, China Biology Medicine disc (CBM), PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science were searched. The retrieval time limit was from the establishment of each database to March 31, 2021. After screening and extracting, SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the basic characteristics, sample size, control and intervention measures, outcomes. Results:Totally 230 studies were included, of which 58.26% (134/230) were randomized controlled trial. The top 6 diseases were chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, osteoporosis, cervical pain, low back pain, diabetes and knee osteoarthritis. Common outcome included four items of blood lipid tests, blood glucose, immunological indicators and the evaluation of disease-related symptoms, such as pain, sleep and range of motion. The median frequency of Wuqinxi was once a day, 45 minutes each time, 5 days a week and lasted for 3 months. 94.78% (218/230) of the studies reported positive results. The safety and compliance of Wuqinxi intervention were good. Conclusions:The number of clinical studies on Wuqinxi is significantly less than Baduanjin and Taijiquan. It is necessary to formulate the report specification of intervention measures for Wuqinxi, so as to report the intervention plan of Wuqinxi more clearly and transparently.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To evaluate the left atrial appendage (LAA) structure and function in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) by real-time three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography (RT-3DTEE) and speckle tracking imaging (STI).Methods:One-hundred and one patients examined by RT-3DTEE in the First Central Hospital of Baoding from January 2018 to August 2020 were selected and divided into non-atrial fibrillation group (non-AF group) and atrial fibrillation group (AF group), and further divided the AF group into three subgroups: non-spontaneous echo contrast subgroup (non-SEC subgroup), spontaneous echo contrast subgroup (SEC subgroup) and thrombosis subgroup (TH subgroup). The structural and functional parameters of the LAA were compared among all the groups. Logistic regression analysis and ROC curve analysis were used to screen the risk factors of thrombosis.Results:①Compared with the non-AF group, end-diastolic volume of LAA (LAA-EDV) and end-systolic volume of LAA (LAA-ESV) were significantly increased in AF group, emptying velocity of LAA (LAA-EV), filling velocity of LAA (LAA-FV), emptying fraction of LAA (LAA-EF), strain of LAA (LAA-S), left ventricular systolic velocity of pulmonary vein (VS) and left ventricular diastolic velocity of pulmonary vein (VD) were significantly decreased in AF group (all P<0.05). Comparison between subgroups in AF group, long diameter of LAA opening (LAA-D1) and short diameter of LAA opening (LAA-D2) in TH group were significantly larger than other groups, open areas of LAA (LAA-OA) in SEC group and TH group were significantly larger than non-SEC, and left ventricular systolic early velocity of pulmonary vein (VR), VS and VD were significantly smaller than non-SEC( P<0.05). The differences of LAA-EV, LAA-FV, LAA-EF and LAA-S among the subgroups were statistically significant (all P<0.05). ②Logistic regression analysis found that LAA-EV, LAA-FV, LAA-EF and LAA-S were independent factors of LAA thrombosis in patients with AF ( P<0.05). ③ROC curve analysis found that the cut-off values of LAA-EV, LAA-FV, LAA-EF and LAA-S for predicting LAA thrombosis in patients with AF were 30.95 cm/s, 29.60 cm/s, 30.84% and 10.95, respectively. Conclusions:By combining RT-3DTEE with STI to analyze the structure and function of LAA with multiple parameters, and observe whether the LAA has SEC and thrombosis, it can more effective and accurate information for AF progressim and guide clinicians to formulate the further treatment plan.

ABSTRACT

AIM: To study the effect of sesamin on expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)and nitrotyrosine(NT)in rat liver tissue with metabolic syndromic hepatic steatosis. METHODS: The rat model of metabolic syndromic hepatic steatosis was induced by operation of two kidneys with one clip(2K1C)and high-fat. The rats taken from that successful model were randomly divided into model group and sesamin(120, 60, and 30 mg·kg~(-1)·d~(-1))groups. In addition, the sham-operated group was set up. The rats in treated group were given sesamin intragastrically everyday for 8 weeks. The levels of blood lipids(TC, TG and FFA)in serum were detected. The activity of SOD and MDA level in the liver homogenate were determined. The expressions of iNOS and NT proteins were detected by Western blotting analysis. The histopathological changes were observed by HE staining in the liver tissues. RESULTS: Compared to model groups, sesamin(120, 60 mg·kg~(-1))significantly inhibited the elevation of serum TC, TG, FFA, and MDA in liver homogenate(P<0.05), and increased the activity of SOD(P<0.05). It also decreased the protein expression of iNOS and NT(P<0.05), and ameliorated the degree of hepatic steatosis. CONCLUSION: Sesamin prevents and cures the metabolic syndromic hepatic steatosis. The mechanism is probably mediated through decreasing the protein expression of iNOS and NT, and alleviating the oxidative stress in addition to regulating the lipid metabolism.

ABSTRACT

Aim To investigate the difference of aortic function between renal hypertension rat(2K1C) and renal hypertensive-hyperlipidemia rat(RHHR).Methods Animals were divided into 3 groups: the sham-operated group,RHHR and 2K1C model groups. The vascular function test was performed in vitro. The response of aortic ring to phenylephrine(PE),acetylcholine(ACh) and sodium nitroprusside(SNP) was measured. Then aortic ring was incubated with nitricoxide synthase inhibitor N-nitro-L-arginine-methyl-ester(L-NAME) and its response to Ach was observed. Results The contraction in response to PE was augmented in the two model groups.ACh-induced vasorelaxation was reduced in both model groups, and such relaxation was more depressed in RHHR than that in 2K1C.The ability of relaxation evoked by NO was impaired in two model groups.SNP elicited complete relaxation in three groups, but the sensitivity to SNP was more decreased in RHHR than those in sham-operated and 2K1C groups. Conclusion These findings suggest that the vasodilation function of aorta is more impaired in RHHR than that in 2K1C group. The decrease in utilization of vascular smooth muscle to NO induced by hyperlipidemia may contribute to the main cause.
