ABSTRACT

Objective To establish management programs for hypothermia in trauma patients in emergency department,so as to guide clinical nursing practice and provide references for scientific management of post-traumatic hypothermia. Methods The first draft of management prograns was established by retrieval of trauma-related guidelines and original studies at home and abroad. Two rounds of expert consultation were conducted via Delphi method to finalize the management programs. Results The management programs consisted of 4 first-level items (hypothermia related assessment, prevention and graded intervention, evaluation, coordination with the team),15 second-level items and 36 third-level items. The expert authority scores of two rounds were 0.85 and 0.86.The expert coordination coefficients at all levels ranged between 0.257 and 0.347.Conclusion There were high levels of enthusiasm, authority and team coordination in experts. The management programs can be used as a basis for comprehensive evaluation and scientific management for hypothermia in trauma patients.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the curative effect of nasal irrigation combined with backslapping for sputum suctioning on respiratory tract infections in infants . Methods Two hundred and forty-seven infants with respiratory tract infections were enrolled in the study and divided into the control group and the experiment group by the medical record number . On the basis of routine care , the experiment group was treated with nasal irrigation to clear secretions . Result The time for rales and cough disappearing in the experiment group was shorter than that in the control group , and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0 . 05 ) . Conclusions Nasal irrigation combined with backslapping for sputum suctioning can effectively ease the main symptoms and signs , enhance the ventilation function , enhance sleep quality and promote the rehabilitation of the disease .

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the evolution of research themes and trends in China's nursing college education during the last decade. Methods A co-word analysis of keywords was performed in the research literatures around nursing college education from two Chinese databases,VIP China Science and Technology Journal Database and CKNI Periodical Full-text Database, between 2003 and 2012.The analysis was based on two different periods (phase Ⅰ from 2003 to 2007 and phase Ⅱ from 2008 to 2012).Results A total of 646 articles were included, with 287 articles published in phase Ⅰ and 359 articles in phase Ⅱ.Sixteen high-frequency keywords were identified during the phase Ⅰ,with seventeen during the phase Ⅱ.Two research themes, nursing student-training model and construction and reform of curriculum, were presented in both phases. However, some differences in research sub-themes exited between phase Ⅰ and phase Ⅱ.Conclusions Hot research topics in nursing college education seemed no change in the past ten years.School-hospital collaboration newly emerged as a hot topic in the field of nurse education research. The research on construction and reform of curriculum change its focus to nursing courses and humanities courses. The academic studies of nursing college education were mostly influenced and pushed by reforming and developing of nursing education.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the impact of ningxinjieyu capsule on contents of monoamine neurotransmitters and their metabolites in cerebral cortex of chronic depression model rats. Methods The chronic stressed depression model rats were established by chronic unpredictable stress and separation.the model rats randomly divided into model group, ningxinjieyu high-dose group(10.8 mg/(kg · d)),mid-dose group(3.6 mg/(kg · d)),low-dose group(1.2 mg/(kg · d)) and Fluoxetine group(3.6 mg/(kg · d)) and the normal rats as the control group. Finally the changes of Noradrenaline (NE),Dopamine (DA),5-hydroxy tryptamine (5-HT),3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (DOPAC) and homovanillic acid (HVA) would be observed using HPLC-ECD technique. Results Compared with the control group, the contents of NE,DA and 5-HT were significantly lower in the model group (P<0.01).Compared with the model group, the contents of DA were increased in the different concentrations of ningxinjieyue capsule groups, and the contents of 5-HT were higher in the low-dose and high-dose groups ((272.15± 129.89) ng/g,(445.08± 127.56) ng/g,(375.33±52.38) ng/g) ; the contents of NE were increased in the low-dose and mid-dose groups ((408.08 ± 89.55) ng/g,(530.12± 149.87) ng/g,(542.53 ± 96.10) ng/g) ; the contents of HVA were increased in the mid-dose and high-dose groups; the contents of DOPAC were increased in the low-dose group; the contents of 5-HT,DA and NE were increased in the fluoxetine group(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Conclusion Ningxinjieyu capsule has antidepressant effect, the mechanisms might be regulated to the contents of monoamine neurotransmitters and their metabolites in cerebral cortex.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVESTo investigate the role of TLR-NF-κB signaling pathway in pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis (AR) and the mechanism of TLR to modulate innate immunity and adaptive immunity.

METHODSOne hundred rats were divided into 5 groups by simple randomization, normal group(group A), modle group(group B), AR+LPS20 group(group C), AR+LPS10 group(group D), AR+LPS5 group(group E). Model of AR in B group was established by intraperitoneal injection and nasal topic delivery of ovalbumin (OVA). A group was delivered of same volume physiological saline instated of OVA, C,D,E group were interfered by nasal delivery of LPS in different concentration (including LPS 20 µg, 10 µg, 5 µg per 100 µl). Changes of nasal mucosa tissues and inflammatory cell infiltration were observed by HE staining, while neutrophil and eosinophil counted under high power microscope.Expression of IL-4, IFN-γ, and IgE in nasal mucosa tissues were measured with immunohistochemical method.Realtime-PCR and Western-blot were used to evaluate the expression level of TLR-4 and NF-κB in nasal mucosa tissues.SPSS 13.0 software was used to analyze the data.

RESULTSGroup B was observed to have developed AR injury of nasal mucosa. Eosinophil count and the expression of IL-4, IFN-γ, and IgE were significantly higher in B group than those in A group (all P < 0.05), neutrophil count was significantly higher in C, D, E groups than that in B group (all P < 0.05).

RESULTSof immunohistochemical staining showed that, expression level of IFN-γ, TLR-4 and NF-κB were significantly higher than group B (all P < 0.05), while IL-4 and IgE were significantly decreased than group B (all P < 0.05) . The protein expression of TLR-4 and NF-κB was 0.888 9 ± 0.032 9 and 0.913 3 ± 0.031 1 in group C, and 0.419 2 ± 0.038 0 and 0.447 8 ± 0.033 0 in group A, 0.616 1 ± 0.025 1 and 0.748 1 ± 0.034 3 in group B, the difference was significant(all P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONSTLR plays an important role of modulation between innate immunity and adaptive immunity in the pathogenesis of AR. The higher concentration of TLR doping may activate the higher expression of NF-κB then intervene the development of AR with immune deviation.
