ABSTRACT

100 patients with coronary thrombosis between 1993 January and December 1995 were admitted in the [B] cardiac unit at the university hospital in Rabat. The mean age is 58,12 years, with a masculine predominance [76%]. The time between onset admission is long, only 19% were admitted within 6h. The authors observed that the nicotine-poisoning is the first vascular cardiac risk factors [52%]. The site of coronary thrombosis was more often in anterior region [62%] against 26% in the posterior region. 42% cases of left cardiac failure were noted and 33% of rythme disorders [were noted]. Early mortality is of about 11%
