ABSTRACT
The Uncontrolled Manifold theorem is an important concept in biomechanics studies, specially in determining the variable which is controlled by the central nervous system in a task. Beyond the explanation of the Uncontrolled Manifold theorem in this article, it is compared to the same theorems in its field. Various applications of this concept are presented according to the investigations of the creators of this theorem. Some related examples are presented and the discussion on the controlled variable is provided by means of this theorem
