ABSTRACT
Herein, a case report of late onset ischemic stroke in a patient who had biopsy prover temporal arteritis, related to a relapse of the disease. Recurences are common in the illness, occuring months, and even years within steroid therapy. Such adverse complications are often wrongly imputed to atherosclerosis and hypertension. Their prevention rest on a close monitoring and an adequate management of the vasculitis
