ABSTRACT
This study included 100 eyes of 50 recently diagnosed diabetic patients to detect refractive changes occuring in them after control of diabetes. Two types of refractive changes were detected, hyperopic changes in 86% and myopic changes in 8% of the examined eyes. The mean time needed for stabilization of refraction was 2.8 months
