ABSTRACT

@#Chronic periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease caused by plaque microorganisms, and removal of plaque and calculus is the gold standard for nonsurgical periodontal treatment. However, complete debridement is difficult, especially in some complex anatomical sites. Excessive scaling may result in the loss of healthy cementum and lead to dental hypersensitivity. Studies have shown that a diode laser can exhibit the best performance in an environment with blood because its wavelengths (630-1 064 nm) are close to the absorption peaks of heme and melanin and they have broad application prospects in the oral field. In nonsurgical periodontal treatment, diode lasers have three treatment modes: soft diode laser, antimicrobial photodynamic therapy and low-level laser therapy, which can be used alone or in combination. Although diode lasers cannot replace mechanical treatment to remove calculus, they can remove infected periodontal pocket epithelium, change the microcirculation to promote wound healing, reduce bleeding and relieve pain through photothermal effects and biological stimulation. The effect of diode laser treatment depends on the treatment dose. It is necessary to precisely control the output intensity and control the irradiation time to avoid thermal damage to the tissue. In the future, extensive research at the molecular level is needed to reveal the tissue response. At the same time, more high-quality, large-sample randomized controlled trials are needed to standardize the use of lasers for different stages and grades of periodontitis.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate the association of Internet gaming disorder (IGD) and sleep quality in adolescents of Xi an, thereby providing theoretical evidence for prevention of IGD and improvement of sleep quality of adolescents.@*Methods@#A total of 1 181 adolescents from 3 middle schools of Xi an were randomly selected between August, 2019 and February, 2020. These adolescents were assessed by a series of questionnaires, including basic information questionnaire, IGD and Insomnia Severity Index (ISI). Univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression model were used to evaluate the association between IGD and insomnia.@*Results@#Among 929 junior middle school students who participated in online games and the IGD Diagnostic Questionnaire was filled out in the past 12 months, the prevalence of IGD was 20.0%(186). Univariate analyses indicated that gender, whether single family, whether they living with their parents, whether they were addicted to online games, whether they could control the time of online games, and the severity of insomnia influenced IGD ( χ 2=17.11, 8.33, 202.92, 91.23, 29.06, P <0.05). The multivariate Logistic regression of the total population showed that participating in online games was not associated with the severity of insomnia ( OR = 1.62 , 95% CI =0.92-0.85, P >0.05). The people who participated in online games in the past 12 monthsthe severity of insomnia was positively correlated with the risk of IGD ( OR =3.56,95% CI =1.92-6.61, P <0.01).@*Conclusion@#Internet gaming disorder become a severe situation in the middle school students. The severity of insomnia might become the risk factor of IGD, so social should pay more attention to the prevention of internet addiction.

ABSTRACT

@#Objective ( ) To explore the application value of bone suppression imaging BSI in the diagnosis of occupational ( pneumoconiosis) Methods - pneumoconiosis hereinafter referred to as " " . A total of 330 chest films of high kV digital ( ) radiograph DR of patients with suspected pneumoconiosis were selected by convenient sampling method. BSI is applied to the , , , , chest films and the differences of small opacity shape small opacity aggregation the number of large opacity lung areas small ( ), opacity profusion and diagnostic stage of pneumoconiosis were analyzed by simple DR reading DR group simple BSI reading ( ) ( ) Results BSI group and DR and BSI combined reading combined group . There was no significant difference in the distribution of small shadows and the detection rate of small shadows aggregation and large shadows in pneumoconiosis among ( P ) , the three film reading methods all >0.05 . For the concentration distribution of each lung area there was statistically (P< ), significant difference between the DR group and the BSI group 0.05 but there was no statistically significant difference , ( P ) between the DR group and the combined group and between the BSI group and the combined group all >0.05 . The results of , consistency analysis showed that the DR group and the BSI group and the DR group and the combined group had high ( , P< consistency in the judgment of small shadow intensity in the lung region both weighted Kappa coefficient were 0.75 all ) 0.01 . There was a high consistency between BSI group and DR group and combined group and DR group in the diagnosis of ( , , P< ) , pneumoconiosis stage weighted Kappa coefficient were 0.77 0.79 all 0.01 . Compared with the DR group the diagnostic , rate of pneumoconiosis stage Ⅰwas significantly reduced and the diagnostic rate of pneumoconiosis stage Ⅱ was significantly ( P< ) , increased in the BSI group and the combined group all 0.01 . However there was no significant difference in the diagnosticrate of pneumoconiosis stage Ⅲ >0.05 . Both the BSI reading and DR and BSI combined reading can improve , the display of pneumoconiosis lesions to varying degrees and therefore can improve the diagnosis of pneumoconiosis. In , addition the identification and diagnosis of pneumoconiosis lesions in the BSI reading is comparable to that in the combined , group which has a good application value in the diagnosis of pneumoconiosis.
