ABSTRACT
Objective: to identify the perceptions and practices about violence between adolescent intimate partners of the professionals who comprise the different coordination levels of the Network for the Protection of Children and Adolescents at Risk for Violence. Method:a qualitative study anchored in the Theory of Praxis Intervention in Collective Health Nursing. Data collection took place through interviews conducted between December2020 and July2021. Thematic content analysis was performed. Results:The participants were seven professionals from the Protection network of Curitiba, Paraná. Three empirical categories emerged that deal with the following: perceptions about violence between adolescent intimate partners; difficulties and practicalities of the network to face it; and the potential of the Protection Network for devising interventions. Conclusion: The network proved to be a powerful strategy to intervene in this form of violence. However,network coping is still scarce, which denotes the need for its inclusion in the public policy agenda.
