ABSTRACT
There are several methods for assessing diabetic control. Urine glucose estimation may be misleading and the numerous blood glucose estimation per day may be very cumbersome. Glycated hemoglobin on the other hand is a very reliable indicator to assess the level of diabetic control over the preceding two months interval and in contrast to blood glucose estimations it is not affected by moment to moment rise and fall in blood glucose levels. A significant reduction in diabetic complications is noted if glycated hemoglobin is kept around 7.2% by strict control of blood glucose levels

Myasthenia gravis [M.G] is by far the most common human disorder of neuromuscular transmission. Cases are misdiagnosed initially and there may be an average delay of two years before diagnosis is made. An awareness of this condition is important for early diagnosis. Recent modes of treatment like use of Immunosuppressive therapy, thymectomy and plasmapharesis have improved the over all prognosis of this condition
