ABSTRACT

Through resources investigation and sample collection,a total number of 392 Dendrobium officinale from 38 different populations,9 provinces were processed for measuring and observing.Fourteen agronomy characterizations like stem height, stem diameter, number of node in stem were selected for further classification. The cluster analysis was performed using Ward and Euclidean method. The results showed that the threshold of genetic distance was 2.77.Thirtyeight populations were divided into 6 groups. The factor analysis showed that, the leaf shape, stem shape, pitch length and leaf color were very important factors for classification. This study establish the foundation for analyzing the genetic relationship of D.officinale from different populations.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To analyze the effect of diary psychological guidance on negative emotion and self-efficacy in patients with duodenal ulcer.@*Methods@#From August 2016 to September 2018, 88 patients with duodenal bulbar ulcer admitted to Harrison International Peace Hospital were divided into study group and control group by random grouping method, 44 cases in each group. The control group was given traditional intervention, while the study group was given diary psychological guidance on the basis of the control group. Both groups were assessed by SAS and SDS, Pittsburgh Sleep Scale, SF-36 Quality of Life Scale and Self-efficacy Scale before and after intervention at the end of the second week.@*Results@#After intervention, SAS and SDS of the study group were (51.3±2.0), (52.4±1.9) respectively, while those of the control group were (58.5±2.8), (59.3±3.1). There were significant differences between the two groups (t=15.278, 13.211, P < 0.05). The Pittsburgh sleep quality score, self-efficacy score and quality of life score in the study group were higher than those in the control group (t=7.892-24.031, all P<0.05).@*Conclusion@#The intervention of diary psychological guidance can improve the negative emotions such as anxiety and depression, and improve the self-efficacy of patients with duodenal ulcer.

ABSTRACT

Based on rDNA ITS sequences of Dendrobium officinale and the other 69 species of Dendrobium, a pair of dismatched allele-specific diagnostic primers, TPSH-AS1F and TPSH-AS1R were designed to authenticate D. officinale from the other species. Thebidirectional PCR amplification were performed using the diagnostic primers with the total DNAs of the original plants or processing products as a template. When the annealing temperature was raised to 60 ℃, only the template DNA of D. officinale could be amplified whereas the diagnostic PCRs of the other Dendrobium species were all negative. Compared with the other authentification methods, the bidirectional PCR amplifications is not only simpler and time-saving but practical and effective.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo explore the characteristics related to the quality of life and the way of response among patients with anxiety disorder in Shandong province.

METHODSCase-control study was adopted, with secondary data analysis on mental disorders among adults over 18 years of age, in Shandong province. 720 patients with anxiety disorder who met the anxiety diagnostic criteria of DSM-IV, were selected from the database, according to the distributions on gender, age (±3 years of age), village or community. 720 persons without any psychiatric diagnosis were selected and served as controls, under 1 :1 paired choice. Research tools would include:General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12),Quality of Life Questionnaire (QLQ), Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ), and questionnaire on general information.

RESULTSScores of QLQ among patients with anxiety disorder were lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference(P < 0.01). Scores on the negative ways of coping among patients with anxiety disorder were higher than the scores of the control group, with statistically significant difference(P < 0.01). Regardless of gender, age, occupation, education, marriage, religious belief etc., results from the 'two factors anova-analysis' showed that the scores of QLQ among patients with anxiety disorder were still lower than the scores of the control group while the scores on negative coping were still higher than the scores of the control group.

CONCLUSIONPatients with anxiety disorder and having poor quality of life outnumbered the ones from the control group, and using negative coping ways to cope with the stress events.
