ABSTRACT

Inthis study we evaluated the diagnostic tools available to detemine the primary pulmonary hypertension. In the report we describe the clinical features, laboratory findings, thoracic radiography and connected determinations. These determinations include: electrocardiogram. echocardiopraphy, lung scan, computed tomography, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging, pulmonary angiographic evaluation, right cardiac catheterism, cardio-pulmonary excercise testing (aerosolized nitric oxide and iloprost) angioscopy and lung biopsy. All these procedures were evaluated and the respective evaluation is commented in the article
