Troubles psychiques et endocrinopthies A propos de 8 cas

Neuroendocrine recent advances and growing evidence of the important role of nervous and endocrine system in immunoregulation account for the present new interest in associated psychiatric, dysimmune and endocrine disturbance. We report 8 cas of such non iatronic association observed at a medical unit in a psychiatric hospital. The endocrine illness was unrecognized in 5 cases: Two chronic psychosis [paranoid psychosis and schizophrenic hebephrenic psychosis], and 3 acute psychiatric agitation crisis. Psychiatric disorders complicated the course of an endocrine disease in 3 observations. Diagnostic and etiopathogenie issues are reviewed
