ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of Salvia miltiorrhiza-volatile oil of Dalbergia odorifera on blood lipid and blood coagulation system in coronary heart disease myocardial ischemia miniature swine with blood stasis syndrome. METHODS:A total of 18 swine were randomly divided into sham operation group (routine feed),model group (routine feed) and S.miltiorrhiza-volatile oil of D. odorifera group(1 g/kg S. miltiorrhiza+0.1 mL/kg oil of D. odorifera, mixing administration),for consecutive 8 weeks. At 4th week, coronary heart disease myocardial ischemia model of blood stasis syndrome was established by Ameriod coarctation ring implantation in other 2 groups except for sham operation group. At 8th week, the syndrome of the model was observed according to coronary angiography and the macroscopic indications. At 2th,6th,8th week, intravenous blood was collected to test the serum levels of TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,apolipoprotein A1(apoA1),apoB,PT,APTT,TT and FIB in miniature swine. RESULTS:At 6th,8th week, compared with sham operation group, serum levels of TC,TG,LDL-C,apoB and FIB were increased in model group, while PT,APTT and TT were shortened and the levels of HDL-C and apoA1 were decreased, with statistical significance(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Compared with model group, the serum levels of TC,TG,LDL-C and apoB were decreased in S. miltiorrhiza-volatile oil of D. odorifera group, while PT,APTT and TT were prolonged and the levels of HDL-C and apoA1 were increased, with statistical significance (P<0.05 or P<0.01). CONCLUSIONS: The S.miltiorrhiza-volatile oil of D. odorifera could reduce blood lipid and improve blood coagulation system index disorder in coronary heart disease myocardial ischemia miniature swine with blood stasis syndrome.

ABSTRACT

Focal adhesion kinase( FAK) ,a cytoplasmic non-receptor protein tyrosine kinase, serves as both a molecular scaffold and a mediator participating in multiple signal transduction pathways.FAK is involved in tumor cell survival, proliferation, migration and metastasis.Recent studies have shown that FAK is expressed in many tumor cells.Currently,FAK has been regarded as a potential target for cancer therapy. This review is to summarize the relationship between FAK and tumor progression.

ABSTRACT

Lignocellulosic biomass represents an abundant, low-cost and renewable source of potentially fermentable sugars. It is acandidate besides petroleum as feedstock for fuel and chemical production. Recent researches on utilizing lignocellulosicsas feedstock boost development of numerous-promising processes for a variety of fuels and chemicals, such as biodiesel, biohydrogen and ethanol. However, high cost in depolymerization is a primary obstacle preventing the use of lignocellulosic biomass as feedstock. Consolidated bioprocessing (CBP), refers to the bioprocess without any exogenous cellulolyotic enzymes added, converting the lignocellulosic material into biochemicals directly, which could potentially avoid the cost of the dedicated enzyme generation step by incorporating enzyme-generating, biomass-degrading and bioproduct-producing capabilities into a single organism through genetic engineering. There are two CBP strategies, native strategy and recombinant strategy. We mainly introduce the recombinant strategy, including its principle, the two responding styles, the contributions of synthetic biology and metabolic engineering and the future challenges.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the effects of several factors on bud proliferation and rooting of Dioscorea bulbifera stem with a bud. Methods Single factor test and plant tissue culture methods were applied. Results The combination of 6-BA or KT and NAA helped the proliferation of stem with a bud in D.bulbifera;high concentration sucrose led to callus growth of stem with a bud in D.bulbifera which didn′t help the proliferation of stem with a bud in D.bulbifera;Liquid culture also helped the proliferation of stem with a bud in D.bulbifera; In a certain range, the increase of NAA concentration helped the rooting of stem with a bud in D.bulbifera.But it will inhibit the rooting with concentration in a higher level. Conclusion The best proliferation culture medium of D.bulbifera, stem with a bud is MS + KT 2 mg/L +NAA 0.5 mg/L or MS + 6-BA 2 mg/L + NAA 0.5 mg/L;For proliferation of D.bulbifera stem with a bud,the best sucrose concentration is 30 g/L sucrose, the best culture mode is liquid culture; The best rooting culture medium of D.bulbifera stem with a bud is MS + NAA 2 mg/L.
