ABSTRACT
Fundamento: el uso del método clínico constituye un apremio en las disciplinas de las ciencias médicas. Objetivo: elaborar acciones para perfeccionar la aplicación del método clínico en la disciplina Farmacología desde la educación en el trabajo. Métodos: se realizó una investigación descriptiva con enfoque cualitativo en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Villa Clara en el curso académico 2012-2013, con profesores que imparten las asignaturas Farmacología General y Farmacología Clínica. Se utilizaron métodos del nivel teórico: análisis-síntesis e inducción-deducción y empíricos: el análisis documental, y la encuesta en forma de entrevista. Resultados: se constató que el nivel de aplicación del método clínico en la disciplina aún no es el deseado, además de ser insuficiente el tratamiento metodológico realizado para su implementación, por lo que se proponen acciones metodológicas para hacer más eficiente la aplicación de este método desde la integración de la Farmacología con la Medicina Interna a través de la educación en el trabajo. Conclusiones: las acciones propuestas permiten elevar la aplicación del método clínico en la mencionada disciplina y fueron valoradas como efectivas por su pertinencia, factibilidad y relevancia.
Background: the use of the clinical method constitutes an urgency in the disciplines of the medical sciences. Objective: to elaborate actions that allow to perfect the application of the clinical method in the Pharmacology discipline through the in-service training. Methods: it was carried out a descriptive investigation within the qualitative approach in the Medicine faculty of Villa Clara University of Medical Sciences in the academic year 2012-2013, with professors that impart the subjects General Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology. Methods of the theoretical level were used: analysis-synthesis and induction-deduction and empiric ones: the documental analysis, and the survey in interview form. Results: it was verified that the level of application of the clinical method in the discipline is not still the desired one, besides being insufficient the methodological treatment carried out for its implementation, for that reason methodological actions are proposed to make the application of this method more efficient through the integration of Pharmacology with the Internal Medicine through the in-service training. Conclusions: the proposed actions allow elevating the application of the clinical method in the already mentioned discipline and they were valued as effective by their pertinence, feasibility and relevance.
