This prospective study was conducted at Nephrology section of Medical Unit-II, Nishtar Hospital, Multan. The objective of the study was to determine the frequency of different complications during haemodialysis in patients having end stage renal disease. The patients with acute renal failure having haemodialysis were excluded from the study. The most frequently observed complications were depressive illness, vomiting, fever, itching and hypotension. The causative relations of the complications with other parameters were also assessed.
