ABSTRACT
Mycoplasma pneumonia is an uncommon cause of autoimmune hemolytic anemia [AIHA]. It is usually mild and self-limiting. Rarely, it is severe necessitating steroidtherapy. We present a case of severe autoimmune hemolytic anemia [AIHA] caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae t h a t required steroids, intravenous immunoglobulin, plasma pheresis, and cyclophosphamide.
