ABSTRACT
Femoral artery lesions associated with false aneurysm are unusual and seldom known complications of femoral intertrochanteric fractures. Their chronic clinical manifestation with no hemodynamic or local suggestive signs, added to the difficulties of the propedeutic interpretation, may lead to a wrong diagnosis and an imprecise treatment. Knowledge of that complication and modes of high sensitivity diagnostic tools could provide for early diagnosis and correct treatment.
