ABSTRACT

A new procedure for fertilization has been developed for artificial insemination. The technique is aided with a curved cannula able to be inserted transvaginaly into the uterotubal junction. The insertion procedure is carried out by blind method or under ultrasound. Semen is injected through this cannula to be in direct contact with the ovum/ova. Results have revealed 66% successful rate among patients who had no success with any of known insemination techniques

ABSTRACT

A cauterization method has been employed to treat cases of unexplained cervical hostilily. The procedure is considered to be new as a new design for cautery was used. The cautery wire was designed especially for cervical treatment. Results revealed pregnancy in 48% of patients who had several types of treatment with no success. This is believed to be attributed to extensive erradication of cervical epithelium which in turn, may cause the disappearance of the hostile factor
