ABSTRACT

Intrauterine fetal demise of one fetus after 20 weeks in a twin gestation is an uncommon occurence. Two cases conservatively managed are presented. These twin pregnancies were monochorionic-diamniotic. No gross anomalies in any of surviving co-twins could be detected. Maternal coagulation profile gave neither evidence of hypofibrinogenemia or low platelet count.
