A Rare Case of Diencephalic Seizures Secondary to Hemorrhagic Stroke.

Diencephalic seizure or sympathetic storm is a rare condition characterized by paroxysmal episodes of acute increase in heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, temperature and diaphoresis with extensor posturing that can occur, following brain injury. Here we report a case of a 45-year-old male with hemorrhagic stroke who had symptoms of diencephalic seizure during his hospital stay.

Atypical Presentation of Multiorgan Failure Leptospirosis (Weil’s Disease) without Fever.

Leptospirosis is a zoonotic disease of sporadic occurrence caused by bacteria that belongs to the genus Leptospira. Here we report a case of rare form of leptospirosis with multiorgan failure called Weil’s disease. This patient did not have a fever which is the most common presentation of leptospirosis.
