ABSTRACT
Resumen
El perfil epidemiológico en México exige de los profesionales, cuidados de enfermería congruentes con los nuevos escenarios enmarcados en un mundo globalizado y cambiante reconociendo la cultura de los pueblos, sus raíces y su historia. La consulta de enfermería es un área de oportunidad para brindar cuidado centrado en el saber y hacer de enfermería mediante una relación interpersonal que define e identifica la disciplina y delimita su área de responsabilidad. La consulta de enfermería en la Facultad de Enfermería de la Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (FEBUAP) se brinda a población abierta en las diversas etapas del ciclo vital humano y el proceso enfermero es la herramienta metodológica que guía las acciones de cuidado, surge como respuesta a la necesidad de ampliar la oferta de servicios de salud a la población, promover conductas saludables y potenciar el autocuidado además de desarrollar la practica independiente y autónoma de los profesionales de enfermería.
Summary
The epidemiological profile in Mexico demands in the professional nursing care to be congruent with the new scenarios in the global and changing World and the recognotition of the peoples culture, roots and history. The nursing activities are opportunities for providing care centered on the knowledge and practice of nursing through an interpersonal relationship which defines and identifies the discipline and its area with reason. The nursing services in the Facultad de Enfermería de la Benemérita Universidad de Puebla is granted to a population open to the diverse phases of the human vital cycle and the nursing process is the methodological tool which guides the actions of caring, emerging as the answer to the necessity to widen the offering of health services to the population to promote healthy behaviors and to empower self-care aside from the development of independent and autonomous practice of the professional nursing.
