Spectroscopic investigation of some biologically active coumarins and their thionated derivatives

UV, IR and 1H-NMR spectra of some selected compounds of coumarins, furocoumarins, a simple chromone and their thionated derivatives were investigated. 13C-NMR assignment of seven thionated derivatives and mass spectra of six of them were reported. Moreover, 21 compounds were tested for their anticancer activity
