ABSTRACT
Con el sistema graficador Storyboard Live se confeccionaron 2 historias animadas, FITEX (Fisiología de los tejidos excitables) y FIGRUST (Fisiología de los grupos sanguíneos y las transfusiones), con el propósito de facilitar el aprendizaje de 2 temas de la disciplina Fisiología, así como estimular el autoestudio como forma del desarrollo del trabajo independiente. Para validar la eficiencia del FITEX, se dividieron los estudiantes de 1er año de medicina en 2 grupos homólogos, uno de los cuales vio la historia animada antes del seminario relacionado con el tema, y otro grupo que no lo vio, comparándose posteriormente los resultados obtenidos en dicho seminario por ambos grupos de estudiantes. Un procedimiento semejante se utilizó para validar el FIGRUST con los estudiantes de 2do. año de Licenciatura en Enfermería (CRD). Los resultados muestran que los rendimientos docentes de los estudiantes que vieron las historias animadas antes del seminario fueron superiores. Se concluye que este tipo de medio auxiliar de la docencia puede resultar muy útil para la enseñanza de la Fisiología.
By using the Storyboard Life graph system 2 animated stories, FITEX (Physiology of the excitable tissuss) and FIRGRUST (Physiology of the blood groups and transfusions) were made aimed at facilitating the learning of 2 topics of the discipline of Physiology an at encouraging self-study as a way to develop independent work. To validate the efficiency of FITEX, 1st-year medical students were divided into 2 homologous groups. One of the them saw the animated story before attending the seminar about this topic, whereas the other group did not see it. The results obtained at the seminar were later compared. A similar procedure was used to validate FIGRUST among the 2nd-year nursing students. The academic results of those students that saw the animated stories before seminar were better. It was concluded that this type of teaching aid may be very useful for Physiology lessons.
