El Dr. Bernard Jankelson comenzó el estudio de los aspectos musculares y fisiológicos del área orofacial y su impacto en la oclusión, función mandibular y salud del paciente. Dr. Bernard Jankelson began the study of muscle and physiological aspects of the orofacial area and its impact on occlusion, mandibular function and health of the patient. His first invention was built in 1964, it was a low frequency electrical stimulator used to relax facial and jaw muscle through stimulation of the respective neutral way.
