ABSTRACT

Se presenta el caso de una mujer gestante, con llamativas lesiones cutáneas de rápida evolución, que correspondierona histoplasmosis diseminada aguda, situación que definió el diagnóstico de sida. La paciente presentaba una profunda inmunodepresión que determinó otras infecciones oportunistas y finalmente una evolución fulminante que produjo el óbito.


The case of a pregnant woman with striking rapidly evolving skin lesions, which corresponded to acute disseminated histoplasmosis, a situation that defined AIDS diagnosis. The patient had a profound immunosuppression found other opportunistic infections, and finally a fulminant course thatproduced the death.
