Neste artigo as autoras problematizam o conceito de direitos sexuais e reprodutivos, de maneira a retirá-Io do campo do pensamento individualista. Propõem, então, a sua releitura segundo a perspectiva dos direitos sociais, anunciando uma abordagem feminista desta questão.
The authors wish rethink the concept of sexual rights and reproductive rights, with the theoretical intention to think these concepts outside the individualist tradition. They want to read this subject under the concept of social rights. They propose a femirlism reading of this theoretical field.
