Psicoeducação por teleatendimento com familiares de pacientes de uma internação psiquiátrica de um hospital universitário / Psychoeducation with family members of patients hospitalized in a psychiatric unit of a university hospital

Este estudo teve por objetivo avaliar um atendimento de psicoeducação, estruturado em três encontros por telefone, com familiares de pacientes de uma internação psiquiátrica. Foram utilizadas duas escalas, elaboradas pelas autoras, aplicadas ao final dos atendimentos, as quais visavam avaliar a satisfação com os atendimentos e a percepção de melhora quanto ao conhecimento e preparo para lidar com o familiar com transtorno mental. É um estudo quantitativo e transversal. A amostra foi composta por 25 familiares de pacientes de uma internação psiquiátrica de um Hospital Universitário de Porto Alegre. A coleta foi realizada entre os meses de outubro de 2021 e janeiro de 2022. No geral, 86% dos familiares mostraram-se satisfeitos com o atendimento e 67% indicaram maior segurança para receber e auxiliar o familiar no pós alta hospitalar, especialmente ao considerarmos a qualidade das informações recebidas e a percepção do preparo para receber novamente o familiar em casa. Os dados dessa pesquisa reforçam a importância de ações focadas em psicoeducação com familiares de indivíduos com transtorno mental.

This study aimed at evaluating a psychoeducational intervention, structured in three telephone meetings, with relatives of patients of a psychiatric unit in a general hospital. Two scales were used, developed by the authors, applied at the end of the consultations, which aimed to assess the satisfaction with the care provided and perception of improvement in terms of knowledge and preparation to deal with a family member with a mental disorder. It is a quantitative and cross-sectional study. The sample consisted of 25 family members of patients in a psychiatric hospitalization at a University Hospital in Porto Alegre, between October 2021 and January 2022. The results highlight the new paradigm in mental health: having the family in a central and pivotal role in the treatment. Overall, 86% of family members were satisfied with the service provided and 67% indicate greater confidence in receiving and helping the family member after hospital discharge, especially when considering the quality of information received and the perception of preparation to receive the family member at home again. Data from this research reinforce the importance of actions focused on psychoeducation with family members of individuals with mental disorder.

Levantamento do perfil sociodemográfico dos pacientes atendidos na rede de saúde mental de Guaíba / Survey of the sociodemographic profile of patients attended in the mental health network of Guaíba

O estudo tem como objetivo descrever o perfil sociodemográfico dos pacientes ativos atendidos em três serviços oferecidos pela rede de saúde mental do município de Guaíba, em 2016. Participaram da coleta de dados: um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS II), um CAPS AD e uma Clínica­Escola (CESAP), do Curso de Psicologia da Universidade Luterana do Brasil. Realizou-se um levantamento de 958 prontuários dos quais se obtiveram características da população como, por exemplo: os dados nosológicos, a origem dos encaminhamentos, os principais motivos da procura pelos serviços, as principais drogas utilizadas, bem como importantes variáveis familiares e da rede social de apoio aos pacientes. A partir desses resultados, as práticas em saúde mental coletiva poderão ser potencializadas e redirecionadas visando maior eficácia, efetividade e melhoria na vida dos usuários.(AU)

The objective of this paper is to describe the sociodemographic profile of the active patients attended by three services offered by the health mental network from the city of Guaíba, in 2016. Participated in the data collection were: a Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS II), a CAPS AD and a Clinic-School (CESAP) of the Psychology Course of the University of the Lutheran Church of Brazil. A survey of 958 medical records was carried out, from which the characteristics of the population were obtained, such as: nosological data, origin of referrals, main reasons of the search for help, main drugs used, as well as important family variables and the social support network of patients. From these results, the practices in collective mental health can be enhanced and redirected aiming at greater effectiveness, effectiveness and improvement of the users' lives.(AU)
