ABSTRACT
El propósito de esta investigación fue conocer la relación existente entre desgaste ocupacional y un perfil psicosomático; así como su relación con diversas variables demográficas en una muestra no probabilística intencional de 200 sujetos mexicanos del sector bancario. Se utilizó el instrumento denominado EMEDO. El análisis de la información se llevó a cabo por medio de correlaciones Pearson, análisis de varianza unidireccional y regresiones múltiples. Los resultados indican que la correlación entre las variables fue positiva; además, las regresiones múltiples mostraron un perfil psicosomático con trastornos psicosexuales, de dolor, gastrointestinales, psiconeuróticos e indicadores de depresión y ansiedad. La relación entre desgaste ocupacional y factores psicosomáticos es importante para el diagnóstico y prevención de desgaste ocupacional y enfermedades mayores en cajeros bancarios.
This study purpose was to research the relationship between burnout and a psychosomatic profile, and its relation with different sociodemographics variables, in a no probabilistic sample of 200 Mexican workers from the banking system. The EMEDO scale was the utilized instrument. The analysis of the results was performed using the Pearsons correlation, unidirectional variance analysis and multiple regressions. The results show that the relationship between the variables was positive; the regressions analysis shows a significant association in a psychosomatic profile with psychosexual troubles, pains and stomachache, also with nervous breakdown and anxiety indicators. The relationship between burnout and psychosomatic factors is important because describes possibilities for to diagnose and to prevent big diseases in banking cashiers.
